Today we had the great opportunity to sit down with Tausha Pearson, a Minnesota native who founded and operates Haiti Mama. Haiti Mama is a nonprofit organization that bills itself as a 'orphanage alterative' that provides services, training and support to Haitian mothers to keep kids out of orphanages and at home with their mama's.

We discuss Tausha's amazing story, what her organization is up to as well as her experiences shifting back and forth from rural Minnesota to urban environments across the US as well as her extensive time working and living abroad.
