The Sermon on the Mount presents Jesus’ ideal, a colony of Heaven on earth as visualized in the Lord’s prayer, “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

In Matthew 7, Jesus presents four rules of life for those on the kingdom road:

• “Judge not”
• “Do not cast your pearls before swine”
• “Ask, seek, and knock”
• “Whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them”
