Jomo shares his journey in cheerleading, from being a gymnast in high school to becoming a cheerleader at the University of Florida and later at the University of Kentucky. He talks about the pressure of coaching at Kentucky and the importance of maintaining the program's tradition of excellence. Jomo also discusses his favorite wins and toughest loss, as well as the mentors and traditions that have inspired him throughout his cheerleading career. He expresses gratitude for the support he received from alumni during difficult times. Jomo K. Thompson reflects on his time as a cheerleader for the University of Kentucky but also discusses his current involvement in the cheerleading community.
