This week is all about celebrating veterans and their sacrifices. All gave some, some gave all. We salute you!
Mario was in Afghanistan when his convoy was hit by an IED. He was burned alive and barely made it through his injuries. Through death itself, physical and dark mental health struggles, he has found his passion in painting (with only 3 fingers!). He is an artist, photographer, writer, and family man. This is his story of life after his “boom” day.
We all hear stories of trauma on the front lines, but what is the healing process like after the trauma? How do you deal with the darkness, pain, emotions, broken homes, and night terrors?
In this podcast, Hayley Adams and Antonio Santana interview first responders: nurses, doctors, firefighters, EMT, police men and women, dispatchers, veterans, and military members to share not only stories of trauma on the front lines, but the coping skills they have learned to help manage their lives in a healthy way. Share this out to the world, it's our mission to create a community of first responders to help spread healing. One community, one mission. Join our community on IG and Facebook!
