In this episode Jon opens up about a client's newfound confidence through their journey, his own struggles with suffering and mindset, and the moment he changed his perspective about life.
In addition to the personal context, Jon also dives in to the book that changed his life, "Man's Search for Meaning" by Viktor Frankl. The author was imprisoned in multiple Nazi Concentration Camps during the Holocaust, yet through his unimaginable suffering, he found meaning and hope, which was his key to survival.
Frankl was the founder of logotherapy, a school of psychotherapy which describes a search for a life meaning as the central human motivational force.
In this episode, Jon explores the Wim-Hof method, a sort of "new science" that is gaining tremendous popularity in the world right now. Wim Hof, an extreme athlete and mindset guru, created his 3 step method to unlocking control of your mindset.
To test this, Jon took the 20 day Cold Shower Challenge from Wim-Hof and explains the benefits and questions left to be answered, about the method.
