Dave Easton has been coaching at South Jefferson High School in Adams, NY, for the past 13 years.  After playing his high school days in Rochester, NY, he moved to the North Country and had to adapt to the culture of small school football.  In 13 years, he has progressed from Assistant JV to Head JV to Assistant Varsity and back to Head JV, helping to develop the program's young players into serviceable members of the school's varsity team.

When not coaching, Dave is a Special Education teacher, a husband, a father of three, and now a blogger.  His blog, "The JV Playbook," aims to help JV and sub-varsity coaches around the country do the most important thing they can do at their level: prepare players for a future under those Friday night lights.  You can read the JV Playbook on Coachingshare.com.
