He created the Fired Coaches of Georgia (@FiredCoaches) viral X/Twitter account, now a premier voice and hub for Georgia high school football culture. Self-described as "The Unofficial Coaches Office of HS Football," the account blends coaching satire, inside-joke meme humor, and authentic football commentary with fast-breaking news. The account channels the raw, unfiltered conversations coaches normally hold behind closed doors. He covers coaching carousel rumors, job openings, player transfers, playoff projections, and statewide gridiron drama.

It started as a satire account and quickly turned into a legitimate news outlet. It gained major mainstream credibility after breaking major high school coaching news ahead of legacy media outlets. The account broke the story that Josh Niblett was leaving Gainesville HS for Colorado.

In this episode, Coach Chip sits down with Irwin County High School Head Coach Beau Johnson to talk about the pride, pressure, and tradition of coaching high school football in South Georgia. Beau opens up about what it means to represent Ocilla, Georgia on Friday nights in the fall.

Coach Johnson and I also discussed his time as the HC at Blountstown in the Florida Panhandle. He became visibly and audibly emotional when he recalled coaching there during Hurricane Michael, which decimated the region.

We also discussed how difficult it can be to blend in old-school hard-nosed football in today's atmosphere.
