We have a conversation with John Lamons in episode 4 of Season 2. Coach Lamons is the offensive line coach at Covenant Christian Academy in Colleyville, Texas.

Coach Lamons was in the U.S. Navy, where he worked on nuclear submarines. Currently, when he is not coaching the offensive line at Covenant, he is a nuclear engineer in the private sector. He is also a former HS football official, which gives him a keen insight into the relationship between football coaches and officials. Naturally, we discuss the dynamic between coaches and officials, and of course, a little offensive line play.
