現場への道すがら、今日は工夫の倉さんの女房の命日だと知る。

夫の酒癖の悪さを悩んで、飛び込み自殺をしたのだと。

At the dawn of the rainy season, I was working in the railway maintenance section in Tachikawa when I received the news of a hit-and-run death and headed for the scene by gasoline trolley.

On the way to the scene, I learned that today was the anniversary of the death of KURA's wife.

She had committed suicide by jumping into a car because she was worried about her husband's bad drinking habit.

遺産として、長男には風車と、次男にはロバ、そして三男には猫を遺しました。

猫は三男に言いました。「長靴と袋をつくってください。そうすれば、私がきっと旦那を幸せにしますよ」。

As an inheritance, he left a windmill to his first son, a donkey to his second son, and a cat to his third son.

The cat said to the third son. The cat said to the third son, "Please make me a pair of boots and a sack. If you do, I will make your husband happy.
