Tom Nugent is a knife maker in New Jersey who recently started his company Knives by Nuge after a career in law enforcement. We talked about his start in the Boy Scouts and how it influenced his decisions to become an EMT at 16 and a police officer. Tom’s Knives are primarily Bushcraft and his years of fishing and hunting have inspired his decisions. We talked about how hard starting a small knife business is and covered the unromantic parts of paying the bills. This is a very honest look in what it takes to giving the knife business a go. Tom is an incredibly hard a worker, and a great up and comer. Definitely someone to watch. Thanks again Tom- GF
