Potkaars is citizen journalism via podcast with a candle in a jar, a guitar, a webcam (for those who want an image) and integrally recorded conversations with guests and a positive story. They are made by Rico Brouwer from Almere. Usually in my studio at home, sometimes on location such as at a demonstration. Since the 2008 financial crisis, I've been trying to read and listen to podcasts a lot to find out and understand what's going on around me in the world you don't hear about on TV. The podcast has existed since December 20, 2018 with a broadcast every week about activism, (geo) politics and what is current. "Potkaars - talk to everyone" who does things, activists and specialists who provide interpretation. People who give me hope. Potkaars is the report of my search.

After my training as a Social Pedagogical Counselor I worked in ICT at ao. Tridion, ING, the Academic Computing Center Amsterdam and as a teacher at Global Knowledge.

The crisis in 2008 changed my view of the world and it brought me back to school. In 2014 I became an activist. The reason was when - after Edward Snowden - Bolivian President Evo Morales' plane was grounded in the EU on behalf of the United States because Morales joked that he might grant Snowden asylum and take him with him from Moscow.

``If the power in the Netherlands lies in The Hague, then perhaps the way to make things better is through politics? '' I would try and so I became a politician in the 2017 House of Representatives elections: candidate # 3 and campaign leader for the Pirate Party. After those elections, I continued as an activist with "Real Fairytales". In music these are the reverse of fake news: the difficult themes in fun songs.

In 2018 I became a journalist. Now I do interviews with specialists on all subjects from all over the world. What my guests share is a message of hope.

I am writing a book about and with whistleblowers and live with my wife, our two children and the dog Sachi - in the Verzetwijk of Almere.

About Willem Engel

Willem Engel has made a scientific career as a Bio Pharmaceutical scientist after graduating from Leiden University in 2001. [1] In 2008 he left the world of science. Since then he has been teaching dance in his own studio DA Dance Studio in Rotterdam.

Mr. Jeroen S. Pols graduated in 2003 with a specialization in criminal law. Since then he has mainly conducted administrative and civil proceedings. For the past 17 years, he has litigated against governments that are not so careful with laws and regulations.

The numerous procedures surrounding the RIECs have attracted regular attention in recent years. The focus of the proceedings is on the unlawfulness of the integrated approach, in which the cooperating authorities structurally set aside legislation and regulations and violate civil rights.

GEOFFREY F. GRESH is Professor of International Security Studies at the College of International Security Affairs (CISA), National Defense University in Washington, D.C. with a primary research focus on maritime affairs. He has also served as the Department Chair of International Security Studies (2016-2019) and as CISA’s Director of the South and Central Asia Security Studies Program (2014-2016).

He also received a U.S. Fulbright-Hays Grant to teach international relations at Salahaddin University in Erbil, Iraq. He has been awarded a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship to Istanbul, Turkey and a Presidential Scholarship at the American University in Cairo, Egypt. Most recently, he was named as a Hitachi-CFR International Affairs Fellow, a U.S.-Japan Foundation Leadership Fellow, an Associate Member of the Corbett Centre for Maritime Policy Studies at King’s College in London, and as a term member to the Council on Foreign Relations.

He is the author of Gulf Security and the U.S. Military: Regime Survival and the Politics of Basing (Stanford University Press, 2015), editor of Eurasia’s Maritime Rise and Global Security: From the Indian Ocean to Pacific Asia and the Arctic (Palgrave Macmillan, 2018) and co-editor of U.S. Foreign Policy in the Middle East: From American Missionaries to the Islamic State (Routledge, 2019). International Law professor Dr. Francis Boyle discusses the increasing potential for war with Iran, as provocations by Washington and Tel Aviv against Tehran could continue from now until Inauguration Day. About Francis Boyle

Francis Boyle is a professor of international law at the University of Illinois College of Law. He received an AB (1971) in Political Science from the University of Chicago, then a JD degree magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, and AM and PhD degrees in Political Science from Harvard University. He practiced tax and international tax with Bingham, Dana & Gould.

Professor Boyle serves as counsel to Bosnia and Herzegovina and to the Provisional Government of the Palestinian Authority. He also represents two associations of citizens within Bosnia and was involved in developing the indictment against Slobodan Milosević for genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Over his career, he has represented national and international bodies including the Blackfoot Nation (Canada), the Nation of Hawaii, and the Lakota Nation, as well as numerous individual death penalty and human rights cases. He has advised numerous international bodies in the areas of human rights, war crimes and genocide, nuclear policy, and bio-warfare. From 1991-92, he served as Legal Advisor to the Palestinian Delegation to the Middle East Peace Negotiations.

Professor Boyle served on the Board of Directors of Amnesty International, as a consultant to the American Friends Service Committee, and on the Advisory Board for the Council for Responsible Genetics. He drafted the U.S. domestic implementing legislation for the Biological Weapons Convention, known as the Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act of 1989, that was approved unanimously by both Houses of the U.S. Congress and signed into law by President George H.W. Bush.

Retired defence analyst Patrick Armstrong discusses US-Russia relations, the Arctic, that NATO is really a "Paper Pussycat", and how Russia's military is extremely well prepared for conflict. He gives his thoughts on the reactions to COVID19 by Russia and China which seems to say they initially may have thought it to be a bioweapon, tied into their fear of the propensity for declining empires (e.g. United States) to start wars as they collapse. He also gives his take on the elections and internal discord paralyzing the United States which he takes to signal the end of empire, a "race between imploding and exploding, fusion or fission."

About Patrick Armstrong

Patrick Armstrong was an analyst in the Canadian Department of National Defence specialising in the USSR/Russia, having started in the time of Chernenko.

He was a Counsellor in the Canadian Embassy 1993-1996, retired in May 2008, and has been writing on Russia and related subjects on the Net ever since.

He has written for various websites and discussion groups – some since departed and some still there, and started his own website with the intention of it becoming a repository for his writings.

Generally speaking, the predominant theme of his career was that we had a great opportunity when the USSR disappeared to make a more cooperative world. Instead, we have steadily turned Russia into an enemy – and a much more capable one than we casually assumed in the 1990s.

So here we are today. Paying for our arrogance, incompetence and maybe worse.

But he hasn’t given up hope.

Forecaster Martin Armstrong says we are witnessing a deliberate attempt to take over the world through the World Economic Forum's "Great Reset" which seeks to install global Communism 3.0. It merges three ideologies: Bill Gates being a symbol of the eugenics and depopulation program, George Soros' "Open Society" a key driver of the one-world government, and Klaus Schwab a Marxist at heart who has proclaimed that no one in the world will own anything anymore. The problem stems from the world's debt since WWII which no one planned to ever pay back and things have reached a point of no return. Politicians are deliberately using lockdowns to intentionally destroy global economies as they seek to strip the U.S. of its superpower status. President Trump is the only one currently standing in the way of this agenda, and if he is removed America's nuclear arsenal could be handed over to the UN. What follows is civil unrest culminating in world war, which could be initiated using a false flag attack on the internet or power grid.

Armstrong is the developer of the Armstrong Economic Confidence Model, best known for calling the crash of 1987 to the very day. The model pegged June 13-June 14, 2011 as the start of a long-term upward trend in the market; the market obliged by notching its first weekly rise since April 29.

Armstrong’s work has become world renown. His model has successfully pinpointed not merely major specific days who events well in advance, but it has provided one of the most consistent guides for understanding the turning points in the global economy and thus the business cycle not merely within a domestic economy, but within the global economy on a collective basis.

Not long afterward, he claims, the C.I.A. telephoned his firm, eager to get a closer look at his model.
