About Alasdair Macleod
Alasdair Macleod started his career as a stockbroker in 1970 on the London Stock Exchange. In those days, trainees learned everything: from making the tea, to corporate finance, to evaluating and dealing in equities and bonds. They learned rapidly through experience about things as diverse as mining shares and general economics. It was excellent training, and within nine years he had risen to become senior partner of his firm.
Subsequently, he held positions at director level in investment management, and worked as a mutual fund manager. Mr. Macleod also worked at a bank in Guernsey as an executive director.
For most of his 40 years in the finance industry, he has been de-mystifying macro-economic events for his investing clients. The accumulation of this experience has convinced him that unsound monetary policies are the most destructive weapon governments use against the common man. Accordingly, his mission is to educate and inform the public in layman’s terms what governments do with money and how to protect themselves from the consequences.

About Alex Krainer
Alex Krainer (born in 1970) is an author and hedge fund manager based in Monaco. Alex was born and raised in a socialist regime of former Yugoslavia, under one-party communist rule. As a 17-year old he joined a student exchange program and spent a year in California.
Extending his stay, he took up his university studies there, ultimately transferring to Switzerland where he completed a degree in Business and Economics. From Switzerland his path led him to Venezuela where he lived for a year and experienced his first banking crisis when 9 of Venezuela’s 16 largest banks failed and brought the country’s economy to a grinding halt.
With his plans and endeavours thwarted, he returned to Croatia and joined the military where he served through 1995 during the last phases of Croatia’s war of independence. Soon after finishing his military service, Alex took employment at an oil trading company in Monaco.
By the year 2000 he became the firm’s risk manager and originated the firm’s research and development program in market analysis and application of neural networks and artificial intelligence in trading of financial and commodities markets.
By 2007 Alex launched his own investment management business and was among the small minority of managers who generated positive investment returns (+27%) through the 2008 financial crisis. Over the following six years, his fund outperformed the Dow Jones Credit Suisse index of Blue Chip commodities trading funds.
This opened the door into the big league asset managers and in 2011 Alex Joined Lee Robinson’s Altana Wealth with the mandate of managing the firm’s inflation hedging strategy. In more recent years, Alex also busied himself as an author. In 2015 he published his first book titled, “Mastering Uncertainty in Commodities Trading.”
Having discovered a passion for writing and stumbling upon the story of Bill Browder and the Magnitsky Act, Alex wrote his second book, unrelated to trading. “The Killing of William Browder” attempts to deconstruct Bill Browder’s narrative, which has played an important role in the conflict between Russia and the west – a needless conflict that could escalate towards a hot war.
Within five weeks, Browder’s lawyer Jonathan Winer leaned on Amazon to suppress the book. In July of 2018 the book was republished by a brave publisher Red Pill Press as “Grand Deception: the truth about Bill Browder, the Magnitsky Act and anti-Russia sanctions.”
However, after only six weeks on the market, the book was again banned. While the future remains to be written, Alex’s endeavors will remain devoted to contributing towards a future endowed with peace, cooperation among nations, prosperity and emancipation of all humanity.

Author James Howard Kunstler discusses the end of the world as we know it and how the thinking class has gone nuts. He faults our unsustainable energy policies and how the "shale revolution" has only served to extend and pretend the collapse of the oil-based economy and the unviable nature of suburbia. Neither will the"alt-energy freak show" of renewables and EVs save us. He covers food production, the electric grid, and feels we are on the cusp of an economic dam ready to burst and that beyond the election anything is possible (e.g. impasse, civil war). He comments on the Jacobin "wokester" cancel culture and identity politics movement and looks at ways we can adapt to the "long emergency."

About James Howard Kunstler
James Howard Kunstler says he wrote The Geography of Nowhere, “Because I believe a lot of people share my feelings about the tragic landscape of highway strips, parking lots, housing tracts, mega-malls, junked cities, and ravaged countryside that makes up the everyday environment where most Americans live and work.”
Home From Nowhere was a continuation of that discussion with an emphasis on the remedies. A portion of it appeared as the cover story in the September 1996 Atlantic Monthly.
His next book in the series, The City in Mind: Notes on the Urban Condition, published by Simon & Schuster / Free Press, is a look a wide-ranging look at cities here and abroad, an inquiry into what makes them great (or miserable), and in particular what America is going to do with it’s mutilated cities.
This was followed by The Long Emergency, published by the Atlantic Monthly Press in 2005, is about the challenges posed by the coming permanent global oil crisis, climate change, and other “converging catastrophes of the 21st Century.” This was followed in 2012 by Too Much Magic: Wishful Thinking, Technology, and the Fate of the Nation which detailed the misplaced expectations that technological rescue remedies would fix the problems detailed in The Long Emergency.
His 2008 novel, World Made By Hand, was a fictional depiction of the post-oil American future. It eventually became a four part series that included The Witch of Hebron, A History of the Future, and (forthcoming in June 2016), The Harrows of Spring.
Mr. Kunstler is also the author of eight other novels including The Halloween Ball, An Embarrassment of Richesand Maggie Darling, a Modern Romance. He has been a regular contributor to the New York Times Sunday Magazine and Op-Ed page, where he has written on environmental and economic issues.
Mr. Kunstler was born in New York City in 1948. He moved to the Long Island suburbs in 1954 and returned to the city in 1957 where he spent most of his childhood. He graduated from the State University of New York, Brockport campus, worked as a reporter and feature writer for a number of newspapers, and finally as a staff writer forRolling Stone Magazine. In 1975, he dropped out to write books on a full-time basis. He has no formal training in architecture or the related design fields.
He has lectured at Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Princeton, Dartmouth, Cornell, MIT, RPI, the University of Virginia and many other colleges, and he has appeared before many professional organizations such as the AIA , the APA., and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
He lives in Washington County, upstate New York.

About Paul Craig Roberts
Paul Craig Roberts has had careers in scholarship and academia, journalism, public service, and business. He is chairman of The Institute for Political Economy.
Dr. Roberts has held numerous academic appointments including the William E. Simon Chair in Political Economy in the Center for Strategic and International Studies. He has contributed chapters to numerous books and has published many articles in journals of scholarship. He has testified before committees of Congress on 30 occasions.
Dr. Roberts was associate editor and columnist for The Wall Street Journal and columnist for Business Week and the Scripps Howard News Service. He was a nationally syndicated columnist for Creators Syndicate in Los Angeles. In 1992 he received the Warren Brookes Award for Excellence in Journalism. In 1993 the Forbes Media Guide ranked him as one of the top seven journalists in the United States.
President Reagan appointed Dr. Roberts Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Economic Policy and he was confirmed in office by the U.S. Senate. From 1975 to 1978, Dr. Roberts served on the congressional staff where he drafted the Kemp-Roth bill and played a leading role in developing bipartisan support for a supply-side economic policy. After leaving the Treasury, he served as a consultant to the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Department of Commerce.
Dr. Roberts was awarded the Treasury Department’s Meritorious Service Award for “his outstanding contributions to the formulation of United States economic policy.”
In 1987 the French government recognized him as “the artisan of a renewal in economic science and policy after half a century of state interventionism” and inducted him into the Legion of Honor.
He is listed in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World.

Jeffrey Kaye discusses the history of germ or biological warfare use during WWII and in the Korean War. He describes how the U.S. received secrets from Japan’s notorious Unit 731 and utilized biowarfare against the Chinese and Koreans in the Korean War. The official U.S. narrative states that such allegations are communist propaganda, disinformation, and a hoax. Declassified documents may suggest otherwise. Jefferey Kaye also examines the parallels between germ warfare use in the Korean War and the allegations today of COVID-19 being a product of biowarfare. Jeffrey S. Kaye (1954-present) graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in the 1980s. After working as a cab driver, an assistant casting director, a proofreader, a typographer, and assorted odd jobs, he settled down and became a clinical psychologist in his middle age. He retired from his psychotherapy practice in 2017. Dr. Kaye also taught Adult Development and History and Systems of Psychology to Bay Area graduate students in psychology. For nearly 10 years he worked part time with Survivors International in San Francisco, conducting both assessment and psychotherapy of torture victims. After 9/11, he joined others in protesting the activities of psychologists in the CIA and Department of Defense, some of whom helped develop interrogation programs that have widely been exposed as including torture and other forms of cruel treatment of prisoners. "Cover-up at Guantanamo" is his first eBook. He has published articles on torture and other subjects at Truthout, The Guardian, Al Jazeera America, Alternet, and other online websites.

Potkaars is citizen journalism via podcast with a candle in a jar, a guitar, a webcam (for those who want an image) and integrally recorded conversations with guests and a positive story. They are made by Rico Brouwer from Almere. Usually in my studio at home, sometimes on location such as at a demonstration. The podcast has existed since December 20, 2018 with a broadcast every week about activism, (geo) politics and what is current. "Potkaars - talk to everyone" who does things, activists and specialists who provide interpretation. People who give me hope. Potkaars is the report of my search.
After my training as a Social Pedagogical Counselor I worked in ICT at ao. Tridion, ING, the Academic Computing Center Amsterdam and as a teacher at Global Knowledge.
The crisis in 2008 changed my view of the world and it brought me back to school. In 2014 I became an activist. The reason was when - after Edward Snowden - Bolivian President Evo Morales' plane was grounded in the EU on behalf of the United States because Morales joked that he might grant Snowden asylum and take him with him from Moscow.
``If the power in the Netherlands lies in The Hague, then perhaps the way to make things better is through politics? '' I would try and so I became a politician in the 2017 House of Representatives elections: candidate # 3 and campaign leader for the Pirate Party. After those elections, I continued as an activist with "Real Fairytales". In music these are the reverse of fake news: the difficult themes in fun songs.
In 2018 I became a journalist. Now I do interviews with specialists on all subjects from all over the world. What my guests share is a message of hope.
I am writing a book about and with whistleblowers and live with my wife, our two children and the dog Sachi - in the Verzetwijk of Almere.

About Lt Col. Riccardo Bosi
Riccardo is an author and award winning speaker, a strategic and operational leader and innovator with a record of achievements in private and public sectors, domestically and internationally with extensive experience creating new and developing existing organisations.
Experience and Achievements
Riccardo is a former Australian Army Special Forces
Lieutenant Colonel who has led teams in a number of organisations, including:
2nd/4th Battalion (Light Infantry), 1st Recruit Training Battalion, Special Air Service Regiment, 5th/7th Battalion (Mechanised), 1st Commando Regiment,
Army Headquarters,
Headquarters Special Operations,
Headquarters Australian Theatre, and
Combined Joint Task Force Headquarters – Kuwait.
His responsibilities covered an extensive range of management areas including:
command of deployed forces,
operations support,
capability development,
personnel functions, as well as
allied government and military liaison.
In 1998 Riccardo represented Australia in Kuwait in three roles.
Military Liaison to Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
Military Liaison to the Chief of the Kuwaiti Defence Force as well as the US Commander of the Combined Joint Task Force-Kuwait; and
Command authority over deployed Australian Special Forces within the area of operations.
STRATEGY
Riccardo was contracted between 2009 and 2014 as an advisor to the United Arab Emirates Special Operations Command, where he:
devised a strategy framework linking all activities to the Commander’s intentions;
designed a unique capability mapping process;
designed and led a capability audit of the Special Forces Battalion;
redefined the role and tasks of the Special Forces Group;
authored Special Operations doctrine; and
led the development and training of an advanced capability within the Special Forces Group to fight the War on Terror in Afghanistan.
INNOVATION
As the Director of Capability Development in the Australian Headquarters Special Operations, Riccardo conceived of and led the development of a world first capability development system which derives investment priorities from higher guidance in logical, transparent and auditable process.
PUBLIC SPEAKING
Riccardo is a former member of the National Speakers Association of Australia, having achieved in his first year of professional public speaking, the award of Best New Speaker for 2007 by The Executive Connection.
POLICY DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION
Riccardo was a principal author of a state government Defence Industry policy, a major goal of which was the establishment of a significant full-time Army presence in South Australia. Through client management he achieved this objective in under 18 months, with Defence establishing a 1000+ strong mechanized battle group in the Edinburgh Defence Precinct in Adelaide.
OTHER INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Riccardo has consulted internationally in business continuity for the gas and oil industry in Pakistan, Thailand, the Philippines and Italy.
