Our special guest will be Fire Chief Bobby Halton. He is currently editor in chief of Fire Engineering magazine and education director of the Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC). He was a US Forest Service Ranger from 1975 – 1979. Chief Halton began his career as a firefighter with the Albuquerque Fire Department and rose through the ranks to include chief of training. He was chief of operations until his retirement from Albuquerque in 2004. He then became chief of the Coppell (TX) Fire Department, but left Coppell to assume the duties as editor in chief of Fire Engineering Magazine. Chief Halton is a graduate of the University of New Mexico and has served on several of the National Fire Protection Association technical committees. He is active with the National Fallen Firefighters, Congressional Fire Services Institute and the Firefighters Cancer Support Network. You don’t want to miss this one😎👍🏼.
