On Episode 18 of Getting to Grow, we spoke to Emily Tout, co-founder of Mighty slice.
Mighty Slice was founded in the summer of 2021 by Emily Tout and Jamie Cumming, to provide protein snacks for dessert lovers. Combining a sweet-tooth with her love of fitness, Emily would often experiment in her kitchen with protein powders, coming up with innovative ways to incorporate them into homemade desserts like cheesecakes and apple crumbles, transforming these much-loved desserts into delicious post-workout snacks.
After noticing rising trends on social media of people taking time to bake, decorate and enjoy their protein oats and snacks, the pair realised that the current protein industry, geared towards extreme convenience and on the go functionality, might not always paint the entire picture of consumer demand. Sometimes, people want a moment to sit, pause and enjoy in such a busy world.
Mighty Slice’s desserts invite you to ‘take a slice out of your day’ to recharge and enjoy a delicious protein snack, the kind you genuinely look forward to after your workout. Containing over 18g of protein per slice, these desserts truly are ‘mighty’ and are disrupting the protein industry, one slice at a time. With flavours such as Banoffee Pie and Mixed Berry Cheesecake, Mighty Slice transform your favourite desserts into the post-workout snacks of dreams, creating an experience with each mouthful.
