Dictionary.com defines serenity as the state or quality of being serene, calm, or tranquil; sereneness.
For me, Serenity means peace. As I shared on the previous episode, I participated in a mission trip to Jamaica and our group would meet every night to debrief the events of the day and talk about ways to problem solve any problems we encountered. We would do an activity for team building each night as well. One night we had an activity where we were to choose three words that we would want to live our lives by. The three words I chose were Serenity, Passion and Faith.
The previous episode is about passion and my next episode will be about Faith. What 3 words would you choose?
Passion is what makes life enjoyable and meaningful. Without passion life is dry and boring. With passion, people feel alive and like they have a purpose. If you have ever watched someone doing something they really love and enjoy you will know what I mean.
Listen for 5 tips to help you find your passion.

Conflict Resolution is always a touchy subject because where there is a conflict there are emotions. Emotions have a greater influence on the body and brain than our higher order thinking so it takes practice and persevere to make a big difference.
Conflict is apart of life on the daily. We all run into conflicts every day and how we handle them defines us. Sometimes we are conflicted by our own thoughts and sometimes we are conflicted by someone else.
Listen in for tips on ways I deal with conflict and share some of my personal stories.
Everywhere we go, there are things we agree with and things that we do not. How we react is how we show people who we are. When there is a problem that bothers me enough, I feel the need to communicate with the other people to tell them how I am feeling. Generally, with the motivation to make a change. We all have the need to communicate about how we feel about the situations around us.
In this episode I share some ways I use my emotions to navigate challenging situations and communicate effectively. Would love to hear your thoughts, comments and feedback. Just click on the Facebook or Email icon to get in touch with me.
This episode will talk about how depression can be overcome by changing the way you think. Sharing the things I personally use to deal with it.
