This episode is for women like me, who don’t always find it easy to lean back and allow ease to flow in, but instead have super active minds that constantly want to be in the doing mode.

Sometimes, if you just ease off and allow, the universe creates magic to reaffirm the fact we are meant to be living like this – with ease.

As I head off on a summer vacation, it’s a reminder that having time off and creating ease in your business is a fundamental goal we should all have – but it isn’t always easy to get to this place. We often end up doing all the things ourselves, getting overwhelmed and feeling we have to be hyper-controlling over every aspect.

In my quest to find ease, I’ve turned to energy – which has been incredibly successful – but there are also lots of practical things you can do.

This week’s guest shares her knowledge and practical advice around the topic of operations.

Today's bonus episode is all about the surprising way that you can connect deeply with your soul clients.

But first, let me mention some things I always felt were something to be proud of, but were actually quite the opposite!

I've always been a bit of a catastrophe identifier, immediately homing in on the potential pitfalls and talking myself out of things. When I went through my journey with IVF and then surrogacy I catastrophised about everything!

Whilst it's normal to worry a little, I took it to a whole new level. It felt like it was my superpower, spotting problems before they occurred. And I was proud of it! 

But whilst I was busy spotting problems, I was removing myself from the opportunity to feel high vibe. I'd trained myself to focus on the negatives and it was holding me back from taking risks and growing my business!

And speaking of being busy, this was another thing I used to pride myself on - "I'm SO busy" was my stock answer to every question! I thought the fact I was working so hard meant I was successful. But that level of working hard just doesn't serve you...as I found, it leads to burnout.

Ease, trust and certainty serve you best. 

And when you're doing what you enjoy it feels less like work and much more like pleasure!

It's vitally important to realize that your soul clients are out there believing the opposite of what you know to be true, and your messaging is the difference between magnetizing them or them scrolling on.

That is thought reversal.

Some of their current beliefs just aren't serving them and it's your role as a coach to magnetize them with your messaging and share how you can help get them unstuck.

Ever wondered how you can make your business work when you only have a tiny audience online?

I have.

When I first started my business I was desperate to build my audience on social media. I threw myself headfirst into training focused on growing my followers, thinking that I could only achieve success if I had thousands of them.

But guess what…it doesn’t hinge on that!

When we think about engagement it comes down to likes, shares and follows. 

In reality, these may be feeding the algorithm, but it’s the real engagement that counts – the stuff you can control. 

Conversing in comments. 

Jumping into the DMs with true, organic conversation that isn’t just focused around selling – that’s where you get the opportunity to get to know your followers better.

And don’t forget that offers matter! It needs to be clear to your audience what you can do for them, and they need to see you are delivering on your promises.

I have just leapt out of the bath (middle of the day baths...one of the joys of being your own boss!) in order to record this episode! 

I felt a bit low vibe, out of alignment, so a bath was just the ticket. And BOOM! Inspiration for this episode struck!

I KNEW I had to talk about how I moved from perfectionist coach to resilient AF CEO - are you curious how I made the transition and are looking to make it too?

In this episode I share some examples of how I have built this resilience...

Such as recently when I accidentally left the wrong greeting on an email send. Instead of beating myself up about it, I looked at the bigger picture and talked myself through the likely impact of what had happened (spoiler alert: it was fine!).

This is worlds apart from corporate Jo - there was no room for mistakes there. If I made one, it felt like the end of the world.

And then there was that time I was ghosted by a prospect...

We had a fantastic discovery call, then silence...I was bold, and pushed for a second call, which we had - and it was also great! But then nothing....

And I never heard from her again!

Clearly we weren't aligned, and this experience gave me the opportunity to build a bit more resilience. It isn't a shameful situation - it's just something that happened, and I trust the universe that it was for the best.

Sometimes as solopreneurs, mistakes like this do happen. We strive to do the best we can, but we've got to be realistic. Perfectionism can keep you stuck small and, as solopreneurs, that's not where we want to be.

To be resilient AF, there's also a lot to be said for being confident. That confidence - knowing your message and trusting in it - is what helps get you through the little mistakes that happen along the way.

I KNOW certain standards have to be met, but I am SO grateful to be in a world now where I get the chance to make mistakes. In fact, it's vital to encourage ourselves to be brave and risk making them, because if they happen we get the opportunity to learn and grow. And that's what we want to keep on doing...

Welcome to the 100th EPISODE of Goals With Soul! 

What a journey it has been, traveling through so many topics since starting out as Action Taker Tribe in December 2020. 

And whilst this is a huge celebration for me, this week's episode is also about celebrating YOU and the journey you've been on towards achieving your true calling in life. 

In this special episode, I discuss a couple of key things that lead us to success - most critically, consistency. It can be easy to let imposter syndrome sneak in but start where you are, KNOW you are enough and JUST KEEP GOING. See your value and share it.

Consistency keeps us in alignment. In who we are as well as what we do.

I know first-hand how difficult this can be. A few months into my solopreneurship, after trying to show up and do EVERYTHING - starting my podcast, mastering multiple media platforms and launching several programs - I reached burnout. 

After working 3x 17-hour days in a row, I turned to my husband and said to him that this was NOT what I wanted it to be.

But guess what? As painful as this was, it was also an opportunity. 

A chance to reassess who I was and what I wanted to say. So I leaned into it. I opened myself up to the spiritual, woo-woo side of me, letting the divine feminine drop in and bring with it that ease and flow I sought. 

And these changes are reflected in my podcast too, evolving it from Action Taker Tribe to the Goals With Soul we know today!

As a lifelong learner, I love constantly exploring new knowledge and practices and sharing what I learn. This is why I introduced guests - I get the chance to learn from them whilst gifting this opportunity to you too. It's such a privilege. 

So, on this 100th episode, let me remind you to celebrate your milestones too. I almost didn't - and what a shame that would have been. Although we should always be striving for betterment, we should do it from a place of appreciation. To see this as a prompt to reflect on YOUR journey so far and the milestones you have reached along the way. 

I feel so privileged to connect with you via this podcast and I can't wait to continue on this journey. Thank you for being a part of it.
