Minister for Sport Stirling Hinchliffe joins Flan, Ali and Spida to talk about the cancelled Commonwealth Games in Victoria.

Ali asks if it’s possible for the Commonwealth Games to be held on the Gold Coast however Stirling replies with “I think it’s a bit too late for us to be picking this up and pulling it together”. 

Stirling says the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth games did benefit the market however not as much as Mayor Tom Tate mentioned on the show yesterday “he talked about a figure of 3 billion dollars, but it was actually 2 billion dollars”
