In this episode of Beyond The Pitch Juan is joined by Gomez Laleau in his ongoing #MLSMiamiSeries. Mr. Laleau is the founder of Little Haiti FC and current administrator at North Miami High School. Laleau talks about the work he has done in that community as his goal is to change the culture within the neighborhood he has been a part of for the past 30 years. He's talked about his successes both on the pitch such as helping Miami Edison High School become a renowned soccer school in the area; and the successes in the sociopolitical arena like getting the land for his club. He also discusses the inroads he is looking to make with David Beckham and his group as they both have had conversations and interactions in the past. He also talks about what that group needs to do in order to truly tap into a market of 750,000 people in South Florida. Mr. Laleau is also talks about the obstacles that many kids in the inner city have when it comes to having the ability to play at the club level or even at the collegiate level in the United States.
