About the Episode:
The COVID-19 pandemic has made life more difficult in many ways, and it can make it even more confusing for a budding entrepreneur to know where to begin.
Donna recommends that all entrepreneurs start with a business plan. She also recommends that, from day one, entrepreneurs shouldn't charge as if they are the only ones doing the work, but rather as though they were paying someone else to do the work for them.
Every decision the entrepreneur makes should be data-driven, but it should also be filled with intuition. Yes, the two can go hand-in-hand! It's also important that entrepreneurs surround themselves with a group of people who will support them – this doesn't mean telling them what they want to hear but rather what they need to hear.
Don't let Covid hold you back from achieving your dreams. Hear more from Donna by listening to this episode!

About the Episode:
We're starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel. Even though the COVID-19 pandemic is hopefully nearing its end, we most likely have a few more months of pandemic restrictions ahead of us. Instead of getting depressed about the next upcoming month and wishing it were all over already, let's instead look at this time as our cocoon where we can be planning for the future. When the pandemic is over, we will emerge like butterflies from our cocoons.
Be Intentional
Where do we start when planning for the future? Start by being intentional and planning for the future. Since we have fewer in-person events and fewer places to go, we can take advantage of that extra time and plan for the future of our business.
Focus on LinkedIn Relationships
Next, focus on your LinkedIn connections. Are the people you're connected with the people you would be connected with if 2021 were your millionaire year? Connect with the right people and nourish those relationships.
Think Big
Stop thinking small. Instead of selling multiple low-price products and services, brainstorm and find a way to provide a high-ticket offer. People find more value in high-priced products and services. You also don't have to sell as much when your price is higher.
The end is nearing! Let's take advantage of these last month and prepare our businesses for a non-COVID-19 world.

About the Episode:
Does the word sales sound icky to you? Does it make you squirm and think, "I could never enjoy that"? Perhaps the reason a lot of people feel this way about sales is that they're looking at it from the wrong perspective.
The goal of sales is to answer someone's problems and fulfill their needs. How do you do this? Start by serving them. Learn who they are, what they need, and cater to those needs. Even if someone chooses to not buy from you immediately, they're sure to remember how you tried to help them instead of "selling" to them.
It's no secret, though, that you have to have confidence when making sales. As Krista Marin likes to remind herself, lend a cup of courage. Believe in yourself, invest in yourself, and soon you'll have the courage you need to make sales fun!

About the Episode:
In an absolutely mind-blowing statistic, women in 2019 collectively made 500+ billion dollars less than their male counterparts. You read that right… in 2019! We, as women, need to work together to claim our chunk of that 500+ billion dollars that is just sitting there for us in 2021. How can we make this happen?
Your Mindset
Having the right mindset is critical to success. Who is it that you want to be? Adjust your mindset and identify as the person who will achieve success and take her part of the 500+ billion dollars.
The Math
Next, look at your business and ask yourself the questions, "Does the math work?" Can you see the pathway to the number you're wanting to achieve in your business? If not, now is the time to look at your products and services, ask yourself how you can ramp them up, and create a $20k offer you only have to sell one of per month.
The People
Who are you spending your time with? Are you spending time with people who drag you down to a poverty mindset, or are you around people who lift you up? Don't abandon the people in your life, but make sure you're spending a lot of your time around people who are thinking bigger.
As we're nearing 2021, let's work together to bust the gender wage gap and claim our chunk of the 500+ billion dollars!

It's easy to forget how important pre-work is. With clients, we want to focus on providing excellent service – which is a great thing – but it's important to wow the client from the beginning. That's where homework comes in.
Before communicating with a client, take the time to look them up. What exciting things have they been doing? Have they been featured in any articles recently? Find out a little bit about them. By doing this, you're sure to wow them from the beginning.
Homework can also do the work of finding clients for you. By putting yourself out there, explaining who you are, and showing your tract-record, clients will be able to find you online and immediately begin to build a relationship with you.
In this episode, Debbie Lang shares how homework has helped her in her business. Listen now!

About the Episode:
The COVID-19 pandemic has been a crazy time for everyone. It has also given a lot of us more time on our hands. Instead of going to network meetings and going on lunch dates, we're stuck at home. Thankfully, we can use this extra time to reevaluate our business, remove what we don't enjoy, and start doing more of what we love.
First, ask yourself the question, "What do I really enjoy doing?" Don't ask what you're good at or skilled at. Ask what you enjoy. Then start focusing on what you love doing!
Second, take a look at your calendar. What events on your calendar make you cringe? What can't you stand doing? Start cutting those events out! If you hate them and they're not beneficial, don't do them.
Lastly, lean into your pricing. Instead of selling multiple low-cost items and services, dream big and ask yourself, "How could I make this more valuable and sell it for a higher price?" By raising your prices, you can make more money while spending less time and effort. This takes guts, but, in the end, it's worth it.
It's easy to clutter our business with tasks that don't really bring any value. Start looking at your company, cut out the things that don't matter, and start living with more freedom!

About the Episode:
In business, there are so many tasks to attend to. It's easy to get overwhelmed with all the emails, phone calls, marketing plans, financial meetings… sound familiar?
If you're a one-person business, it's time that you create a team. It's easy to believe the lie, "It'll just be faster if I do it myself." Take this mindset, throw it out, and start relying on others who want to help you achieve your goals.
Once you have a team, you'll find you have more time on your hands to focus on growing your business… that is, of course, if you and your team have good tools to collaborate. Without proper collaboration tools, some tasks might be assigned to too many people while other tasks fall through the cracks.
Xenia Muntean is the CEO of Planable, a content review and marketing collaboration platform that will streamline your social media marketing. It helps keep communication and collaboration about social media marketing all in one place so that everything will get done quickly and efficiently.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg showed up and made a change in the world. Just like her, we have the ability to make a change, and RBG left us amazing examples of how to stand up against the crowd.

About the Episode:
On September 18, 2020, the world lost Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She was a champion for women's rights, and there are so many great things that we can learn from her.
RBG didn't accept unfair treatment just because that was how things were. When she had the ability, she showed up and did the good that she could do. And when she did something that went again the majority, she did it with confidence.
That warrants the question… are there areas in our lives where we should be showing up and making a difference? It's easy to get stuck in the mundane way of doing things and to follow the crowd. But with more visibility comes greater responsibility. It's time to start following RBG's example and ask ourselves, "Where can I make a difference?"
When it's your turn to step up and make a change, do it with confidence. Trust your gut, trust your expertise, and trust yourself. When you champion for change, it's true that you'll most likely face opposition. But just like the advice RGB followed, it helps to be a little deaf. When someone says something offensive, it's best to tune them out, stop yourself from getting angry, and work on the backend to make a change.
You can make a change. You just have to show up.

About the Episode:
Are you ready to achieve your goals and succeed? Of course you are! Start by taking a look at your business, and follow these 5 simple steps to make success inevitable:
1) Know Your Monthly Number
To start off, decide how much money you need to make each month. This gives you a set goal to achieve. Determine your yearly sales goal, then divide that by twelve. Don't forget to DREAM BIG!
2) Decide what Goes into Reaching that Number
Next, determine what products and services go into reaching that monthly number, then think about the number of products and services you need to sell. Maybe you need five more students to join your yoga class each month. Perhaps you need to sell 10 more books. Knowing the number of products and services you need to sell makes the sales goal attainable.
3) Do Some Historical Research
Take a look at your past months of business. Which month was your best month? Why? How many sales calls did you make? Find out what you did that month that made it so successful and use that as a guide to making your future months as successful – if not more successful!
4) Research Your LinkedIn Connections
Now take a look at your LinkedIn connections from last month. How many people did you connect with? How many of those connections turned into meaningful phone calls? Determine what you did right that resulted in more phone calls and how many more connections you should make each month.
5) Make Success Inevitable
By now, you have everything you need to make success inevitable. With what you discovered, now you can tweak your plan going forward. Maybe you need to sell more products. Maybe you need to connect with more people. Whatever the case is, you now have a goal to achieve!
Success doesn't happen by accident. Follow these five steps to make success inevitable!
