Hey Sox fans! The Chicago White Sox just swept the Detroit Tigers on the South Side and are three games over .500 for the first time since April 17th. Solid starting pitching and clutch hitting late in the game helped the Sox bounce back from the disastrous Kansas City Royals series. We talk the Anderson injury, Kopech flirting with a no-hitter, the team taking on the personality of TLR, realistic expectations against Houston and so much more. There are 47 games left in the season and the White Sox are just two and half games back in the AL Central. Can they find their fire and swagger? Thank you for the continued support and Go Sox!
Hey Sox fans! The Chicago White Sox are (55-53) and two games back in the AL Central. They just split with the Texas Rangers and have an off day before a four game series with the Royals in Kansas City. The Sox continue to just thread water and despite getting their '6-man core' in the lineup for the first time all season, they prove to be just a mediocre team. We further examine the trade deadline and discuss the ripple effect of only add Jake Diekman. We also try to figure out Yasmani Grandal and Yoan Moncada. Plus, Dylan Cease has been absolutely outstanding but we should probably just enjoy him while he's here, right? Thank you for the continued support and Go Sox!
Hey Sox fans! The White Sox just took two of three from the Oakland Athletics. Dylan Cease pitched another masterpiece. The Chicago White Sox are one game over .500 and two games back in the AL Central as the calendar flips to August. What moves.. if any.. will the White Sox make before the August 2nd deadline? Will the White Sox go after starting pitching or bullpen help? Defense or left-handed power? We talk about potential trades and what the Sox need to get from their current players with 60 games left in the season.
The Chicago White Sox (41-43) enter an extremely important week of baseball. They have 8 games in 7 days against the Cleveland Guardians and Minnesota Twins. Currently, the White Sox are 5 games out of first place in the AL Central. Can the Sox come together as a team, play through soreness and fatigue while leaving it all on the field before the All Star break? They will have to. For the White Sox to realize their potential, the time is now. This week is the most important week so far. It's all hands on deck for a shot at first place before the break. Thank you for the continued support and Go Sox!
Hey Sox fans, the Chicago White Sox are (38-39) and just swept the San Francisco Giants. They scored 19 runs in three games but did not hit a home run. Lance Lynn, Dylan Cease and Lucas Giolito all were more than serviceable in their outings. The Sox come home and begin a critical stretch of games against AL Central opponents. Will the Sox not only get back to .500 but also jump to first place in the division? With Eloy Jimenez, Liam Hendriks and Adam Engel all returning soon, the time is now for the White Sox. Thank you for the continued support and Go Sox!
Hey, Sox fans. During the past week, our White Sox won two of three from the Toronto Blue Jays but lost three of four to the Baltimore Orioles. Thankfully, Dylan Cease was so dominant in the series finale or we'd be talking about the Sox getting swept. The Sox continue to deal with all kinds of different injuries. The offense has been anemic as of late. The Sox went on a 5 game stretch without a HR before Gavin Sheets finally broke the streak in the lone win against Baltimore. Guys like Andrew Vaughn and Jake Burger have cooled off but Leury Garcia continues to get playing time despite the call up of Lenyn Sosa. The White Sox head out west to take on the Los Angeles Angels and the San Francisco Giants. The west has treated the White Sox very well over the years but maybe the script can be flipped during this upside down season? Thank you for the continued support. Go Sox.
Hey Sox fans, our Chicago White Sox are a few games under .500 but are back at home and Tim Anderson is returning to the lineup. The Sox host the Blue Jays and Orioles this week as the Sox hope to recapture some of that offense from almost a week ago when they were in Detroit. We talk about Moncada's latest injury, the status of Eloy, lineups, second base and starting pitching. We also recap the series in Houston. Is Johnny Cueto for real? Can he continue to pick up the slack as Giolito scuffles and Lance Lynn tries to get back to form. Thank you for the continued support. Go Sox.
Hey Sox fans, our Chicago White Sox just dropped two of three to the Texas Rangers and have fallen to 4 games below .500. They are 6 back in the AL Central race. What could go wrong, has gone wrong for the White Sox and the frustration from the fans has reached a boiling point as "Fire Tony" chants rang out loud and clear this past weekend. Jake Burger has stayed hot and has made the most of his time in the lineup. Danny Mendick has continued to play well, too. The White Sox have lacked a consistent run of putting everything together. One step forward and two back. Hopefully Kopech's recent knee issue isn't too serious. Lance Lynn finally returns for the Sox and perhaps others will soon follow. Lots of baseball left but recently it's been the making for a long summer. Thank you for the continued support and Go Sox.
Hey Sox fans, after a horrible trip in Toronto, the Chicago White Sox took two of three from the Tampa Bay Rays and find themselves two games under .500 as they head back to the South Side to play the Los Angeles Dodgers and Texas Rangers. Maximizing their time on the field, the White Sox got production from Danny Mendick and Jake Burger in big ways. Andrew Vaughn continues to be a bright spot and Liam Hendriks looked outstanding, earning his 16th save in the series finale. When will Sox fans see some consistency from this 2022 team? When will there be a string of games that feature a similar lineup? We are hoping for some normalcy, some patterns to emerge and for the White Sox to get into a rhythm. Hope is all we have right now as we continue to wait for the real White Sox team to consistently show up. Thank you for the continued support, Go Sox.
The Chicago White Sox are (23-23) and several players are not living up to the back of their baseball cards. Will they ever achieve that goal or are some players like, Yasmani Grandal, destined for mediocrity. The White Sox cut ties with Dallas Keuchel and then lost Tim Anderson to a groin injury. When will the setbacks end? How can this team stay afloat with Tim Anderson? Things need to start trending in a different direction immediately and the White Sox need to be able to rely on Jose Abreu, Yoan Moncada, Andrew Vaughn, Luis Robert and starting pitching to get things going. Thank you for the continued support, Go Sox.
