David Pere began his career in the military, but after being promoted and finding himself in a windowless office, he lost the joy he used to feel in his job. The feeling of adventure was gone for Pere. That’s when he realized he needed to make a career jump and work toward financial freedom. To do that, David created his brand in the military real estate entrepreneurship community - despite having imposter syndrome.

Serial entrepreneur, Julie Gates, named her short-term rental property company “Sid Was Here” and has no problem embracing her uniqueness. She would rather be odd because that makes her a lot more memorable than just naming her company like any other real estate company in the market.
In fact, Julie didn’t just stop there. Applying the long-short strategy, she found her niche in the short-term rental space: targeting startup professionals and travelers. There’s a projected 20% to 30% of millennials in the future that will never sign a lease or buy a home because they are just going to travel from place to place – and Julie has definitely made sure she has the inventory for them!
Listen in as Julie talks more about how the short-term rental works, her strategy and why it’s actually a hot ticket on the market right now.

Many people think that achieving their dreams is their be-all and end-all. What they don’t realize is that even if you have it all, you’ll never feel fulfilled unless you live out your true purpose. But you can’t do that with a mountain of pain in your heart. There’s power and potential inside of you; you just need to know how to tap into it.
In this episode, two-time MLB All-Star and international speaker, Shea Hillenbrand, shares his inspiring story and teaches us the lessons he learned the hard way. This episode of Tribe of Millionaires dives into how finding his identity and healing his pain empowered him.
After leaving his baseball career, Shea pursued his other childhood dream: to own a zoo. Through his nonprofit foundation, they were able to rescue animals and place them in a petting zoo environment while inviting disabled and Child Crisis children to interact with them. For him, the fulfillment he got out of this was far greater than anything he ever did in the Major Leagues.
Through the MLB Mindset Formula, with “MLB” standing for momentum, language, and belief, Shea helps passionate and heart-centered leaders grow into a thriving all-star lifestyle and create an impact while living a life they truly love. Shea is also a licensed realtor at eXp Realty and the founder of the Against All Odds Foundation.

One of the greatest keys to success is discipline. Forcing yourself to be disciplined, however, isn’t easy. Willpower doesn’t always come naturally. So what does it take to work on your game?
In this conversation, coach, author, and speaker Dre Baldwin teaches how to build discipline and confidence. You don’t have to fake it until you make it. Instead, as Baldwin believes, you can become the person you really want to be right from the get-go.
Following his 9-year basketball career, Dre began producing YouTube content and soon walked down the entrepreneurial path selling $4.99 basketball training programs. He eventually created weekly motivation videos to get people in the right mindset. Have you ever consciously made big decisions out of your intuition? Now, if you are a numbers person and your every move is based on calculated risks, trusting your intuition can be a big deal. There’s always that voice of fear looming over your head, and while you have to be aware of that voice, it doesn’t mean you have to listen to it.
Then there’s this more powerful voice that if you just learn to take a step back, you will be able to listen to it – and once you tune into your authentic self, it will guide you along your path to success.
Today’s guest, Hemal Badiani, chose a path that's powered by his intuition. He left his home country in India to carve out his path in the United States, then followed his now-wife to the UK before permanently moving to Charlotte, North Carolina. He lived in three different continents and did management consulting for the Vatican and Disney. Fast-forward to today, Hemal is the CEO of Exponential Equity, a real estate development and investment firm. What does it mean to be coachable? To be coachable is to be fully self-aware, focusing on the future rather than the present, and focusing on relationships rather than the content. If you want to continue to grow, there has to be that element of coachability, or you just stop growing, and you end up settling for mediocrity.
