* 6 min response, chief had arrived

* 1 story house, about 1000 SQ ft

* Converted attic with ladder to it (smoke showing)

* Stretched a line, while searching

* No smoke of heat inside.

* Narrow stairs to attic (fire at ceiling)

* Fire knocked down with 50 gal of water,

* As hose got pushed up, helmet and hood got knocked off, Dale bailed from attic and back step went up while he fixed his PPE.

* Portable radio never got turned on.

* Crib, lots of stuffed animals, checked again and found a baby.

* Truck crew brought the second child out.

* Both kids passed away from burns and smoke.
