Steven is a fascinating man who has turned early trauma into his superpower. 

Steven and I discussed how we all must heal from wounds and the benefit of doing our shadow work. 

Founder of Mastering Change, Steven Twohig, has committed himself to mastering the art of transformation. While seeking to heal from trauma inflicted while just a toddler, Steven was introduced to the practice of shadow work in April of 2000, leading to a lifelong study and what he believes is a path to enlightenment.

Steven spent a decade working for and studying under the world's leading business and life strategist, Tony Robbins. He wanted to blend shadow work with business strategy, integration, and implementation. Tony commissioned him to interview over 10,000 business leaders worldwide to determine what made them successful and help thousands transform their businesses to be more productive and strategic.

Currently, he is studying the impact of shadow work on psychedelic integration. He focuses on bridging the gap between traditional plant medicine and the western mind, intending to bring the insights and innovation that plant
medicine provides to everyone who wants more out of their lives. He believes we are finally on the cusp of proper mental healthcare, which will spur global innovation.

He is an international speaker and has traveled worldwide, teaching a blend of strategy, shadow work, and spirituality. Jenny and I spoke about her journey from illness, to self-healing, to healing others.
Jenny Light is a Yoga Elder, psychologist, meditation teacher on Insight Timer, author, and inspirational speaker from Ayrshire, Scotland.

Her spiritual upbringing was fostered by her parents’ personal exploration of Vegetarianism, Yoga, Findhorn (in the early days) and a deep love of multi-faith religious buildings. Tyler and I had a fascinating talk about what led to his NDE in his twenties and why he kept it quiet for over a decade. Today, Tyler is a healer, practicing many modalities and wanted to share his NDE to help others know that there is much more beyond the physical world.

Over the past 22 years, Tyler has studied, trained, and practiced many therapeutic modalities. He has a broad knowledge and thousands of applicable hours of advanced healing in Hawaiian Lomi Lomi bodywork / Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) / Craniosacral Therapy (CST) / Thai bodywork / and in the year 2000, had been one of only a few participants in the first training of the Pulse Technique©, developed by Jo Dunning. Tyler is also a graduate of The Centre of the Performing Arts, South Australia (now AC Arts), and the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo, where he studied literature and creative writing.

After a near-death experience (NDE) from a mountain bike accident, Tyler was propelled into the inner world of self-healing, where he was faced with examining deep-seated trauma at the molecular level. The self-healing has given him inner gifts that have allowed him to connect more intimately with the Earth, elemental spirits, animals, and plants, and to guide people back to their beautiful core essence.

Tyler’s specialty is working with highly sensitive and empathic individuals, however, anyone is welcome to work with him if they feel called to do so. He works remotely, assisting his clients with recalibrating the bio-energetics of the nervous system, the center of all body system functions and spiritual integration. Spiritual evolution is the process of bringing more light into the nervous system.

Over the years, Tyler has been described as a molecular empath & healer, peacemaker, gifted writer, animal protector, and dad to two beautiful cats (one of whom has a cameo in this very video).
