Dr. Phil Zuckerman is a professor of Sociology and Secular Studies at Pitzer College in Claremont, California. 

He developed the first Secular Studies degree program in 2011, Secular Studies being the study of non-religious people, groups, thought, and cultural expressions.

He is the author of multiple books on the subject, his most recent being, “What it Means to be Moral: Why Religion is Not Necessary for Living an Ethical Life”

He is also a contributing editor for the secular media platform “OnlySky,” with podcasts, columns, and other content available online.
