There is also a long discussion about Dark Vision and how it’s the most maligned ability in Dungeons and Dragons. Also how does it work? Speaking of how things work they also dive into Resurrection. I guess it’s like magnets. Nobody knows.

With little news on the WotC front the GDM guys talk a bit about the games they partake in. GDM Jay was lucky enough to have a go at the Tarrasque this past week. Unfortunately his party was not even remotely up to the task. GDM Christopher is looking for an ending to a campaign he’s currently writing, but as endings go it’s never an easy task. There are also a ton of great Spelljammer miniatures coming out the guys take a look at. There is also talk of the Witcher season 2, since GDM Christopher finally got around to watching it. GDM Jay had a slew of things he talked about in this episode. He’s seriously considering running a 2nd Edition Dark Sun Game. Somebody save him before he goes down that path. Psionics are great, but best of luck teaching THACO. In other news he found a neat sub-class that uses spray paint and poison as a bard. Who doesn’t want to tag walls and bad guys? Then he decided his players needed to hunt down a green dragon, or did it hunt them down? The guys also decided to take a dig at WotC again for more released errors. Seems mistakes are becoming a trend. The guys really do love their products though!

It’s finally official! Spelljammer is making it’s way back to Dungeons and Dragons. WotC has confirmed they are releasing a new Spelljammer set for 5E and the Grumpy Dungeon Masters have details. Not all of the details though. Just enough to talk about it for an hour or so. They also dive into the other announcements for upcoming products and give their takes on things with the info they have. Dungeons and Dragons movie, a new board game, and also official Dragonlance info. It’s been a busy week for the game we all love so it’s a busy week here at the Grumpy Dungeon Masters podcast.
