So, last week, I poked fun at teachers in a Facebook post and it got a lot of panties up in a bunch.

First, I don't hate teachers.

Second, I don't want a society full of illiterate idiots walking around who have no concept of history or basic economics... Oh, wait.

Anyways, my main beef with the school system is that it doesn't do a good job of creating independent thinkers. It does an even worse job of inspiring entrepreneurs. And I can prove it's all by design.

So that's what I did in this week's podcast episode. I give my top five or six reasons why school - in its current incarnation - is doing more damage than good for our children, especially when it comes to creating the business leaders and entrepreneurs we need for the modern world.

Oh great. Another episode where I lose a bunch of subscribers. Lol.

Before COVID-19 hit, money was flowing and bad marketing was easy to forgive.

Social media marketers didn't have to show results in money returned on ad spend. They could get away with showing off their "Likes" and ReTweets. "New Metrics," they called it.

Another trend we saw in marketing was the introduction of social issues into a business's branding campaigns. You may recall the "Men Should Do Better" ad from Gillette?

But, will this kind of marketing still be popular as we adjust to the new economy left by our reaction to COVID-19? I say, the answer is no, and I'm already seeing proof of it.
