Contrary to the most popular belief, two narcissists do pursue each other and get into a relationship. A marriage or any other form of union between two narcissists is a dance macabre, a twisted ballet of chaos and destruction, entwining two wretched souls in a complex and turbulent partnership that consumes everything that becomes a part of their life, especially those they bring into this world. This dramatic and crazy saga unfolds in stages, each more devastating than the last.

Narcissistic parents may be preoccupied with their own needs and desires and may be unable to see their children as individuals with their own needs and desires. They may be critical and judgmental of their children, or they may ignore them completely. This can have a significant impact on the child's self-esteem and emotional well-being.

Being in a relationship with a narcissist can be emotionally draining and challenging. Narcissistic abuse leaves you doubting your own mind, with a body stuck on alert and a trauma bond that keeps pulling you back to the person who hurt you. This podcast names what is really…
I'm Danish. I survived narcissistic abuse myself, and I hold an M.A. in Clinical Psychology and certification as an Advanced Clinical Trauma Specialist.
Every episode takes one hidden piece of the abuse and says it plainly: covert narcissists, narcissistic mothers and the families that protect them, gaslighting, hoovering, the silent treatment, the discard, smear campaigns, no contact, and what goes on inside a narcissist when you finally leave.
Episodes also go into what the abuse does to you: CPTSD, a nervous system that cannot switch off, body symptoms doctors cannot explain, the grief, the shame you carry in silence, and the slow road back to trusting yourself.
