I have a lot of women in my programs, clients of mine that are single and looking for love. They've been healing from a shitty relationship and they've lost their confidence in getting back out there. They want to know how to overcome it.
My love, I have been there too. It's not my current reality obviously as I'm with the man of my absolute dreams, but that wasn't always the case. I have been in some terrible relationships with men that have treated me so badly, and I stayed.
I stayed until they broke up with me. I was the damaged goods. I felt like I had done something wrong, I wasn't good enough and that's why they left.
These men weren't right for me and yet when we would break up, I would feel horrible. My confidence was through the floor and I thought I would never find love.
So, how do you heal after a break up?
How do you gain your confidence back?
It all starts with you.
Take a look at the relationship. Was it really that good? What were you seeking that you'd hoped you'd find in that relationship? Who were you possibly pretending to be, to fit into what they wanted.
Breakups are always hard, but there is so much to gain from looking at it as an opportunity for growth.
There is love out there for you but the love for yourself must come first.
