  • Healing From Within – Alzheimer’s as a way for Healing Families
    Host: Sheryl Glick R.M.T.
    Special Guest: Maggie La Tourelle

In today’s episode of “Healing From Within”, your host Sheryl Glick author of The Living Spirit ,which shares stories of spiritual awakenings, spiritual communication, healing energies, miracles, and ways to engage your intuition for a more balanced life, welcomes Maggie La Tourelle , author of The Gift of Alzheimer’s, which as Neal Donald Walsch wrote in the foreword “A perfectly wonderful book…that provides us with a window into the deepest aspects of this disease.”

Maggie, who is a psychotherapist, holistic healer, and author of Principles of Kinesiology and has lectured at some of the UK’s leading universities originally trained as an art teacher incorporated her many spiritual gifts and integrated all while accessing a greater awareness of multidimensional life forces. Maggie gives a moving account of her evolving relationship with her mother who has Alzheimer’s and an understanding of the physical emotional and spiritual needs of people dealing with Alzheimer’s.

The events chronicled in Maggie’s book began when Maggie was faced with the prospect of losing her only sister to alcoholism and the approaching death of her aging parents. Only a year after her sister passed Maggie’s mother Pat was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Alzheimer’s affects more than 5 million people worldwide causing pain not only to its suffers but to their loved ones as well. Maggie discovered a positive aspect of the disease as she realized it offered a gateway to a higher plane and different world. What if those suffering with Alzheimer’s know something we don’t? Maggie discovered after her mom moved into a nursing home that although not always lucid, Pat seemed more aware of the fundamentals of human life than ever before bestowing Zen-like advice to her daughter….”Be in the moment—freedom is important, and patience.”

Alzheimer’s is defined as having 7 stages and is a neurodegenerative disorder causing damage to the brain that results in a plethora of neurological and physical disabilities from forgetfulness, anxiety and an inability to manage complex life tasks in the earlier stages to more advanced symptoms of rigidity, immobility and impaired or lost speech as the disease progresses.

Although this is a personal account of my mother and me as we faced her struggle with Alzheimer’s at the end of her troubled life which included postpartum depression and bi-polar disorder, it is also a multidimensional story spanning both this world and the other World which she traversed seamlessly. It shows that Alzheimer’s is a perfect vehicle for a journey of the soul and it is also a wonderful example of conscious dying. The first part of the book introduces you to the family and events and sets the scene, the places, and the emotions of all involved. The Central Part of the book is The Heart and Soul Journey which is an edited transcript of the journal Maggie kept during the last phase of her life when she had late stage Alzheimer’s. The Final Part of the book—Reflections Revelations and Recommendations attempts to make sense of what happened and explores its implications for people with Alzheimer’s. The final chapter “Closing Thoughts” takes a universal perspective considering how the issues raised by this Heart and Soul Journey might be relevant to our lives now.

Maggie’s mother talked about two worlds. “When Mum says to me that it is difficult working between 2 worlds I think is this a hallucination?, a delusion, or a profound connection to another dimension. Will we stay firmly grounded in this physical life?, or be open to another world and explore it. While Alzheimer’s often strips a person of power reducing them to silence and a state of seeming nothingness it seems Mum might be experiencing a process of evolving into another state of consciousness.”

Her language has changed since an honest exchang...

  • Healing From Within – Beyond Religion to Seven Commandments for a Good Life
BEYOND RELIGION TO SEVEN COMMANDMENTS FOR A GOOD LIFE Volume (3) |Episode (76)
    September 11, 2017

    Host: Sheryl Glick R.M.T.
    Special Guest: Shari Sharifi Brown

In today’s episode of “Healing From Within”, your host Sheryl Glick author of The Living Spirit, shares a look at Universal Energy Healing, spiritual communication and ways to awaken to true human and divine potential. Sheryl welcomes Shari Sharifi Brown author of The Seven Commandments for Happiness and Prosperity who speaks about her personal journey through living within 3 religions to discover the seven key principles that can be applied to all inclusively. A basic plan for reflecting humanity and goodness that can resonate and bring clarity to often conflicting and confusing ideologies along with a new awareness of what leads religious followers to deviate from the simple and pure grace of the Divine.

Shari Sharifi Brown, a structural engineer who worked on a project between the Shah of Iran and Hughes Aircraft in 1976, received a post graduate degree from Harvard in Tehran, was born a Shite Muslim in Isfahan Iran, converted to Christianity and married into a Jewish-American family. Shari is the complete composite of a person who has walked the walk and talks from many experiences with the Three Abrahamic religions and ways of life. We will discuss the compatibility of these religions and learn the key elements of all three major religions to make us whole and secure and to see that the similarities outweigh the differences.

We are living in a time when many Americans are confused about the issues and life style of those living in the Middle East, the differences between the Shites and Sunnis and the Islamic Terrorists and there is much fear and anger regarding the Iranian deal that Obama made and also what to do with the many refugees leaving their homelands.

Sheryl Says…. “The Western way of living is very different from the Modern Muslim World and the ancient Muslim world ACCORDING TO SHARIA LAW in regard to when and how to pray, how women and children are treated as a subordinate second class group, and in the harsh punishments for what the government sees as idolatry or a disrespect for Islam. These ancient practices are not in alignment with the freedoms of the WESTERN WORLD in regard to civil rights, women’s rights, and in an individual way not designated way to find God There seems no way to integrate these philosophies into the rest of the world outside the Middle East. If they do not evolve as other religions have over time. Shari goes on to tell us that the rules for women to cover themselves from head to foot in the heat and suffer discomfort and shame for being a woman do not come from the Koran . Sheryl feels like God would wish us all to delight in the beauty of nature and freedom and to feel the light and wind on our skin. Many Americans are upset at the treatment of women which may not be in the name of Allah but may be man- made terroristic restriction and imprisonment .”

Shari tells us how the cribsis of the Iranian Revolution taught her many things and wrote, “First it showed me that religion and politics can never mix that is why in America we keep state separate from religion or are supposed to…The United States the great friend of the Shah withdrew its support and he was exiled. In his place came a fearsome religious dictator by the name of Ayatollah Khomeini who is still in power….. He called America the great Satan, but at home he began acting like the devil himself. Every day people were executed with bodies hanging from cranes in the street. Members of the Shahs parliament were imprisoned. One day I was opening a car door and liquid acid was sprayed on my neck…Khomeini’s people were attacking those by the way they dressed or the car they were driving more educated and moderate Muslims, and calling them evil,

  • Healing From Within – Transform Your Life through the Power of a Single Note
    Host: Sheryl Glick R.M.T.
    Special Guest: Githa Ben-David

In today’s episode of Healing From Within, your host Sheryl Glick author of The Living Spirit , which is a book that shares a look at Universal Energy Healing, Spiritual Communication and ways to awaken your intuition in order to achieve your human and divine potential, welcomes Githa Ben-David author of The Note From Heaven which shows us that while we already know that music, especially song can lift your spirits, but it might also be possible to transform your life through the power of a single note.

Githa Ben-David who is a Danish author composer singer and vocal sound therapist educated in classical saxophone, has also studied classical Indian singing, is the leader of a two year certified education in Vocal Sound Therapy and Founder of Gilalai, Institute of Energy and Consciousness with her husband Lars Muhl. Githa shares an intriguing idea that The Note From Heaven is actually a state where the voice sings you, rather than you sing the voice.

In the first part of the book Githa has devised an Indian inspired program for self-study along with a practice CD that can be downloaded for free on her website www.thenotefromheaven . The second part presents the method of Regressive Cell-singing: a practice based on the fact that traumas are caused and imprinted in the cellular structure by withholding our reaction to fear. When this fear is expressed vocally, by surrendering to The Note from Heaven the singer literally sings him or herself free from their trauma.

“The Note from Heaven is the tonal expression of a divine state that we all have within us and we can all contact. The Note from Heaven is not in itself the goal. Its function is to free the voice and through that to expand consciousness. It balances the body’s energy system in preparation for conscious work with meditation and healing and for expressing yourself directly from the heart through song. It develops your intuition –your ability to sense and trust that what feels good deep inside is truly valid. Therefore this method to discover the Note from Heaven is for all readers who have an interest in Spirituality. Since song is an expression of how we breathe and breathing is influenced by our state of mind and body, it is hard to provide a self-health method that everyone can use. Traditional singing teachers might even claim it is impossible.” Githa tries anyway because the Listening Process required to find The Note from Heaven is an invaluable aid to self-discovery.

Since The Note From Heaven is a sacred and simple healing tool for reconnecting you to your higher self it is a breakthrough in sound therapy that Githa and her students have made that has helped improve many physical conditions... Githa says, “The Note From Heaven has helped people improve deafness, tinnitus, depression stress, infertility, ADHD, and a number of serious diseases.

The Note From Heaven when it manifests itself-the one single note you sing is like a rainbow opening through you, linked to a potential power, which overwhelms you with the feeling of being one with your Self and the universe. This Note From Heaven has a healing effect on the body and soul and can be experienced by every speaking person—from the tone deaf to the professional singer. What is sought is a state free from any motive of achievement, a state where we listen to our true Self and let it speak out.”

Githa tells us about her first encounter with India and Indian singing by writing... “In December 1986 I felt drawn to singing to creativity for its own sake...this need or drive made my career as a classical/rhythmic saxophone player seem pale and uninteresting by comparison. In 1999 I started to write this book about something....this note or connection to understand my surroundings in connection with my music. In 1986 my singing teacher in India,

  • Healing From Within – What Modern Men Need for Success Purpose and Wellbeing
    Host: Sheryl Glick R.M.T.
Special Guest: Arjuna Ardagh & John Gray

In today’s episode of Healing From Within, your host Sheryl Glick author of The Living Spirit: Answers for Healing and Infinite Love which shares stories of spiritual awakenings spiritual communication healing energies and higher consciousness: to know yourself and life in its miraculous and ever changing ways, welcomes a former guest of the show, Arjuna Ardagh co-author along with John Gray a leading relationship expert and author of Men are From Mars Women are From Venus with their co-authored book Conscious Men which guides a man to look within and discover his purpose and mission; to be in touch with his feelings, but not ruled by his feelings and to follow his own path and destiny.

Arjuna said “We wrote this book together through hours of dialogue at John’s home in Mill Valley . Some days we would be up with the sunrise go for a walk with John’s dog and be energized for the entire day…At the same time we were creating a book that we hope will serve many people.. that is Conscious Dharma at work: doing what you love out of a sense of mission.. Initially rediscovering your sense of purpose or “Conscious Dharma” may be a challenging process: we may be overwhelmed panicked and need to take small steps. We also face the forces that still have some control over how we are living our lives.”

In order to discover one’s Conscious Dharma, you have to first become aware of the Unconscious forces that influence your persona…What did your father and mother expect of you?…Where did you feel obligated by your education?…What do your friends think is cool for you to do? When you become thoughtful and mindful which is the key to everything these automatic habits and parts of you that are distractions to living your best life dissolve on their own… examples are: Conformist Colin ( Do what others expect of You) Greedy George Discover the empty goal of just pursuing money. Instant Gratification Ian…(Too much emphasis on what feels good in a fleeting way) Distracted Dominic Watching TV the internet and media…Need to find Periods of Silence to see what is going on Inside you) Fearful Frank (Survival Needs Take Precedent over What you really love to do)…Once you fall into this sense of the Right Thing to Do You find your Conscious Dharma and it is effortless and natural..

There are differences in the physical and emotional needs of males and females that should be acknowledged and each should be recognized for their strengths and find what suits their needs best.A major difference between a man and woman is that a man’s sense of wellbeing and identity are tied to his sense of mission and purpose, and men will take it more personally.. so if you tell him you are impressed with what he has accomplished like the way he has rebuilt his computer he will feel that you get him. Some women may also have their needs tied to mission and purpose especially if they have more male energy or were raised in a family with brothers. It is all a very individual matter.

In the past societies survived based on their ability to have their sons be unconscious of their own needs. To survive we needed boys and men who did not question dying for their country, tribe or kinship network. They had to buy into the belief that it would make them a hero give them glory and make them loved and respected even though they might end up dead….In the Industrialization process that trains men to focus on the ingredients of survival—earning money and becoming a killer protector it also sets up the environment for becoming conscious. So Success for the Unconscious Man is the Opposite of Success for the Conscious Man

Ex. As per Warren Farrell… Success as an attorney means learning to argue…being a conscious husband or dad means listening to the sky. Being a great warrior means developing a killer reflex being a conscious leader and d...

  • Healing From Within – Beyond Skepticism Comes Scientific Evidence for Life After Death
    Host: Sheryl Glick R.M.T.
    Special Guest: Paul Davids

In today’s episode of “Healing From Within”, your host Sheryl Glick, author of The Living Spirit which shares stories of spiritual awakenings spiritual communication healing and miracles and an understanding of our eternal soul nature, welcomes Paul Davids who co-authored his newest book An Atheist In Heaven with Dr. Gary E. Schwartz. We will discover what happens when a friend, a lifelong skeptic dies and discovers he was wrong about life after death.

Paul Davids has a list of achievements that would take the entire show to talk about. Paul is an author and award winning Hollywood filmmaker who with his wife, Hollace Davids wrote six Star Wars books and produced “The Life After Death Project.” Paul’s deceased mentor, Forrest J Ackerman, an atheist and a luminary in the early history of science fiction left a physical message after his passing for Paul that could not be explained by contemporary forensic science leading to a body of four kinds of converging evidence showing there is indeed an afterlife.

From childhood Paul was taught to believe that the things I am about to reveal to you do not happen and therefore they cannot be true. I was raised by my mother Frances Davids a public school teacher, and my father, a professor of American history at Georgetown University. My father was the son of Hungarian Jewish immigrants but had a career at a Catholic university and worked alongside Jesuit Priests for forty years. He knew how to exercise caution and never rock the boat. I do not know what my father would have said about what I have written in this book. Sheryl says, “My parents were like yours, methodical, practical, and had no idea of dimensions of life beyond here. Yet, now that they are in spirit and visit with me at meditation or unfoldment afterlife groups I run they have expressed their delight with the work I do, and they understand what we have discovered about life beyond life is true and remarkable.

Paul’s dad was a serious man rather famous professor of American diplomatic history a writer of textbooks assisted Senator John F Kennedy with the writing of the Pulitzer Prize Winning book Profiles in Courage... and Jacqueline Kennedy was his student in a graduate course. Later in 1968 Bill Clinton was a student. Clearly my father was well grounded in reality and my mother was very down to earth, rarely speculated and stayed within all the boxes society defines for us. Her grammar was perfect and she did not believe in flying saucers or aliens or God.

Not many books these days begin with a sworn affidavit testifying that the account in the book is true. Paul Davids signed a sworn affidavit as he would in a court of law that he told the truth and nothing but the truth, for he respects and honors his mentor and skeptic Forrest J Ackerman. The distinguished skeptic Dr Michael Shermer wrote in Scientific American in 2015 that it is the convergence of evidence from different sources and domains called ‘consilience of inductions” that ultimately moves scientific understanding forward. Post mortem contact from Forrest J Ackerman is so compelling that it may be the most important after-death communication available to date. Dr. Shermer acknowledged the honest research and integrity of Paul Davids after he saw “The Life After Death Project” a feature documentary that began research on the extraordinary case of After-Death Communication that is the central focus of An Atheist in Heaven.

Paul’s co- author Dr Gary Schwartz gives a WARNING in his preface to your book. Gary Schwartz takes very great care not to be duped. He began researching that not all mediums—people who claim to communicate with the deceased are frauds.... In order to get at the truth I became a fake medium and am very aware of the tricks and techniques used by charlatans and psychic entertainers.

  • Healing From Within – Fear Intimidation and the Roswell Cover-up
    Host: Sheryl Glick R.M.T.
    Special Guest: Thomas J. Carey

In today's episode of "Healing From Within" your host Sheryl Glick author of The Living Spirit which describes Universal Energy, spiritual communication, and ways to awaken to your true human and divine potential welcomes Thomas J. Carey author of The Children of Roswell which offers insights into seven decades of possible misinformation and fear intimidtation, and cover-ups surrounding the Roswell crash in 1947 near Roswell, New Mexico. Many believe there was a government and media cover-up of a spaceship that crashed and was not of this world. Thomas Carey holds a masters degree in anthropology and is a US Air Force veteran who held Top Security Clearance at the time of the Roswell event and has investigated and written about this most controversial subject for over two decades.

"Healing From Within" guests share their experiences and methods for going within to a sense of intuitiveness or soul knowingness searching for remembrances or experiences in order to discover the great mysteries of creation, life, energy, science and spirituality in order to conclude when all the facts are in, that life is eternal and if we keep an open mind we
can begin to understand human spiritual aspects and life beyond this earth plane.

In this episode Thomas Carey hopes to show how one of the most famous UFO incidents impacted the families who were forced to live with the truth while accepting the governments account of the incident and then forced to face years of suppression and fear from a government sworn to protect them. We will attempt to understand why the government of and for the people would go to such lengths to keep these families quiet.

We discover Thomas concentrated on the children involved in the Roswell case for several important reasons. He wrote,²For too many of the children this has been a life-long affliction that demands a root cause‹a common enemy who has mistreated both women and men to preserve what? A secret balloon experiment instead of a real UFO event? Place yourself in the
shoes of those who actually lived it.Just what types of parents would fill their own sons and daughters both the physical and emotional anguish. Brazel Marcel Proctor who actually saw the craft and a dozen others did exactly that. Sheryl thinks that these were truthful courageous parents who valued knowledge over denial, and truth over deception, and wished their children to have those most valuable qualities. Thomas also wrote, ³For if all the witnesses are somehow wrong, it changes nothing, but if they are right, anyone of them, it changes everything. To concede such an event and take responsibility for the multitude of constitutional violations to American citizenry, including children who have decried the extreme malfeasance undertaken to conceal and bully them into silence will never happen. The government agencies and personnel out of fear of
consequences from those forces of unknown origin was no excuse for the cover up and persecution of those who wished to tell their story. When information is used to harm or limit the freedom of any person we should not have the right to speak so freely for there are consequences, but when information can teach and enlighten us it is the responsibility to share it in a positive and respectful way.

Thomas shares a detailed story of Timothy Dee Proctor who was seven years old at the time of the UFO sighting. He was with Mack Brazel a rancher who he worked for and who first discovered the space ship and remains of the beings from the craft. Through the years the toll of that discovery on the young boy affected his health, his marriage and life causing him to become
a recluse. He was told by military intent on covering up the facts of the crash that he would never see his family again or could die if he told the truth.

  • Healing From Within – A Conscious Loving Approach to Divorce
    Host: Sheryl Glick R.M.T.
    Special Guest: Tara Eisenhard

In today’s episode of Healing From Within, your host Sheryl Glick author of The Living Spirit which shares stories of spiritual awakenings spiritual communication healing energies, miracles and ways to empower your health and joy in life, welcomes Tara Eisenhard author of The D-Word: Divorce Through a Child’s Eyes which shares an honest firsthand look at divorce its ramifications and possibilities that from life experiences families can evolve not dissolve through the process. The D-word addresses issues such as conflict, communication alienation attitudes and ultimately moving on to a new perception of Self and love. Tara believes that “Divorce isn’t about dissolution. It’s about evolution!”

Tara Eisenhard shares her views on a situation, Divorce, which impacts a large number of families in these complicated modern times and offers ways to transcend the fear and pain in the divorce process to reach a state of acceptance: allowing what is good and meaningful to lead us forward into other relationships and greater self-awareness. As Sheryl wrote in her first book Life Is No Coincidence… “I don’t believe any experience relationship or challenge is random, but part of a greater plan to help us navigate our human and soul essence for growth and ultimate success.”
Tara says in her blog that Yoga and Divorce can be compared together. She writes, “With time and perseverance, the Sweet Spot gets sweeter. With practice, we learn the art of gaining strength through surrender. We accept the necessity of continuous adjustment and relax into the flow. We go deeper and grow taller. The pose is no longer a battle, but a building block, part of a grander design. In life, we strive to find peace within ourselves. On the mat, we struggle against the laws of physics. In relationships, we struggle against others. In both cases, the recipe for success is the same: show up, find the Sweet Spot, then relax and work through it, one miniscule adjustment at a time.”

Tara says she was the daughter of cooperatively divorced parents and Sheryl remembers reading when actress Gwyneth Paltrow was separating from her husband she used a similar term, Conscious Uncoupling” to show they would still work together as parents to support their children and perhaps each other. Many think of divorce as the result of fights and anger as depicted by the media, literature and contemporary music and that it is always accompanied by deep hurt and negativity.

In the past, marriage was seen b y many religious groups and families to be unacceptable and tragic. In The Living Spirit, Sheryl has a section that helps clients heal from problems that result in intimate relationships and marriages. Many of Sheryl’s clients have expressed sadness about their inner ability to manifest and maintain loving and lasting relationships. We know there is a direct correlation between the love we saw expressed between our parents and how we follow these patterns through in our own relationships. In The Living Spirit, Sheryl writes in regard to divorce; “Once you have honestly done all you could to improve your behavior, control issues, and unrealistic expectations, it is time to offer the issue up to Spirit. We cannot have expectations of anyone other than ourselves. So if the relationship still lacks the qualities necessary for health and love, it may have simply run its course despite what your family, friends or society may believe, there is no disgrace or failure with ending a relationship. I am reminded through a message, unsolicited, and given to me by international Medium Peter Close of England, that my father, Myron, had a message for me and it was quite different from the belief that he had expressed when alive. My father believed divorce was unacceptable and tragic, but now in spirit, he realized divorce, or broken relationships were at times a necessary event of...

  • Healing From Within – Teachings of the Buddha for Living with Purpose
    Host: Sheryl Glick R.M.T.
    Special Guest: Kiyoshi Shimada

Sheryl Glick host of Healing From Within and author of The Living Spirit a tale of finding spiritual communication, healing energies, miracles, and of course a guide to your Inner Soul awareness is most delighted to have once again as an esteemed guest Minister Kiyoshi Shimada, a representative of “Happy Science”, to discuss Master Ryuho Okawa’s book The Essence of Buddha.

Sheryl was delighted to attend a wonderful event in New York City where Master Ryuho Okawa presented his universal themes of achieving prosperity and happiness in a changing world as represented in his many books. Everyone was so gracious and kind and today we will share lessons from the ancient Buddha and his philosophy which can in these challenging times show the way to find personal resolve and bring peace to the world.

Sheryl’s guests share their experiences and search for the meaning, purpose and ways to live harmoniously in their spiritual and physical life and explore Universal Energy as for ways to reach higher consciousness and awareness of our multi-dimensional life force. All ancient and modern spiritual teachers share this knowingness and a way to see the truth of our dual nature as spiritual beings having a physical life.

Kiyoshi Shimada explores the need for self-reflection, the nature of karma and reincarnation, and other teachings of Buddha. He offers a contemporary interpretation of the way to enlightenment which is an expansion of consciousness moving from material concerns to an increased awareness of the “Unseen” spiritual reality. This and the practice of a love that gives, rather than just expecting to be loved, is the only path to happiness and a better world.

Kiyoshi tells us about his own transformation journey and how it lead him to work with Master Ryuho Okawa and “The Happy Science” organization and also what the mission and/or goals of this school of thought is about. Master Ryuho Okawa, an author in Japan and founder of Happy Science, has a simple goal: to help humankind overcome religious and cultural conflicts and achieve peace. Okawa started receiving spiritual messages from Heaven in 1981. Holy beings appeared before him with impassioned messages urging him to deliver God’s messages to Earth.

Sheryl says years ago if she had heard that, she would have thought that it would be impossible to speak with souls in Spirit, but about twenty years ago her grandfather reached out to her in a dream and warned her of her father’s passing. That began Sheryl’s own search to discover more about spiritual communication and mediumship. Sheryl receives messages from above and channels Spiritual Teachers and knows that they long to help us all to reconnect heal and remember we are a Soul. Knowing this is necessary for feeling greater love, for achieving one’s spiritual goals and to find true happiness. These communications with Heaven have deepened the understanding of how to peacefully and calmly face challenges of the physical world and shows us how we can begin to interact with higher beings who can help us live our best life.

Kiyoshi tells us the story of Siddhartha’s life and his inner journey to great enlightenment and how he discovered his calling. Gautama Siddhartha later became the Buddha after renouncing his secular life as a prince and going into the world, living in public to learn the truth of the inner-most self. As was common for a leader of his culture, he had four wives and couldn’t understand why women were so unromantic and gossiped. Of course if he would have thought about the many restrictions for women at that time and still, he might have understood their human need to find ways to control or improve their lives. In time he preferred to be alone as he was a philosophical genius and the mysteries of the world intrigued him more than the workings of his palace.

  • Healing From Within – North Korea’s Nuclear Armament Kim Yung Un – World Security
    Host: Sheryl Glick R.M.T.
    Special Guest: Yuki Oikawa

In today’s episode of Healing From Within, your host Sheryl Glick author of The Living Spirit which shares stories of spiritual awakenings, spiritual communication, healing energies for mastering our human emotions creating miracles and ways to go within to access our highest sense of Intuition and wisdom welcomes Yuki Oikawa a Japanese Political commentator, historian and consultant and a long time observer of Japanese politics and Japanese-American relations. Today we will gain valuable insight into a problem facing our world communities as North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un continues to employ nuclear missiles not sanctioned by the United Nations and offer ideas on how we might deal with an ongoing escalation of violence and disregard for human life.

We will discuss an increasingly frightful stream of events that threaten world -wide peace… Recently on February 7, 2016 North Korea fired an Unha-3 satellite-launch rocket into space. The UN Security Council unanimously condemned the exercise which America, South Korea and Japan see as part of a program to develop an intercontinental ballistic missile— The UN promised fresh sanctions. We will talk about the consequences of this action by North Korea and future actions and also discuss the reasons and conditions the United States Japan and the free world are functioning under to allow this unwarranted aggression.

Yuki has a wonderful background that crosses the financial religious and political worlds. While he currently lives in Japan he has lived in New York City and traveled to the United States often.
Yuki Oikawa is a long time observer and commentator of Japanese Politics, Japanese- American relations and China’s political and human righs environment and recently was named head of Institute for Research in Human History.( IRP) a think tank of modern history research. He also serves as director of foreign affairs for the Happiness a ne conservative political party founded by Master Ryogo Okawa.

Sheryl sees it this way… “I have never been politically motivated and have voted for the person I best feel exhibits a higher sense of spirit and is in alignment with the Universal Laws of Energy regardless of party affiliation…I do not label myself a Democrat or Republican…however It seems that in the United States now there is a redefining of what candidate the Republican Party wishes to support A Right wing Conservative or more moderate conservative… for the upcoming Presidential Election in November 2016…there is dissatisfaction in both parties and general unrest with the populace…with the way the present administration and the liberals have dealt with international issues and the rising problems with the Middle East, Isis, and North Korea and seemingly not enough has been done to stop this growing aggression… The director of foreign affairs for the Happiness Realization Party HRP of Japan a new conservative political party is concerned with these very same problems.”

On Monday February 22nd Sheryl says she heard on the news that President Obama was working on some kind of plan to limit the nuclear plans by North Korea much like he did with Iran. Sheryl says “I know Master Okawa is supported by followers who live in accordance with Okawa’s vision and hopes for enlightened approaches for improving our societies. His group now has 12 million members throughout the globe with faith centers in New York Los Angeles San Francisco Tokyo London Sydney Sao Paule and Hong Kong and other major cities. • Healing From Within – Strengthening Parenting Skills by Building Self-Awareness
    Host: Sheryl Glick R.M.T.
    Special Guest: Thomas Gagliano

In today’s episode of Healing From Within, your host Sheryl Glick author of The Living Spirit: Answers for Healing and Infinite Love shares a look at Universal Energy Healing, Spiritual communication offering insights into how to awaken to your true human and divine potential. Sheryl welcomes Thomas Gagliano author of Don’t Put Your Crap In Your Kid’s Diaper as of course is nearly impossible because most people are not aware of their own limitations and fears which developed in childhood and became habits and patterns making us perpetuate the stories beliefs and illusions parents teachers and society taught them…it is a cycle of fear that can only be overcome by improving ourselves and hopefully, becoming better examples for our children.
Tom, who is a parenting and relationship expert and a leader in the field of addiction and self-help therapy, discusses bullying, anger issues and how to develop greater self respect and intimacy by allowing yourself to forgive and build on your strengths and at the same time to find ways to give more attention to your weaknesses.

Tom shares that bullying is an action of meanness taken against someone who the bully thinks he or she can take advantage of. The action can be accomplished physically verbally or in a neglectful manner. If bullies succeed in their actions without consequences, chances are they’ll repeat the same behavior again and again. Often if our parents and caretakers messages are negative in any way or inconsistent, we can develop an inner critic, become riddled with self-doubt and sabotage our lives. Bullies have powerful inner critics-inner bullies. This inner bully destroys the child’s self-worth and then he or she tries to disrespect the worth of others. Three of the main contributors to both the victim and bully mentalities in children are the home environment, the media’s direct or indirect messages, and finally how society functions. Bullying is often anger or lost of temper directed inappropriately at someone else. There is always unresolved feeling inside the acts of a bully. Many of us feel remorse when we act badly, but a bully has an internal deficiency of remorse and lacks empathy for themselves and others.

Tom mentions intimacy and what many might think a man or woman really wants in a relationship. Tom says, “Gifts are great, chocolates and jewelry.... but the real thing every human male and female is to be loved and known intimately. Unfortunately many people are afraid of intimacy as they fear rejection humiliation and ridicule and the loss of their inner self if it doesn’t work out so they subconsciously push their partner away. Tom suggests If you help your partner in those areas of their life where they don’t expect help they will be touched and moved by it. THE KEY IS TO DO IT WITHOUT EXPECTING ANYTHING IN RETURN. He offers tips to begin moving towards intimacy.

7 TIPS TO ENHANCE THE INTIMACY IN YOUR LIFE:

1 Create an Environment for Safe Communications In a healthy relationship both parties need to discuss the ways they can communicate with each other in a safe way. If not they will become victims to each other and communication will shut down. The rules could be that neither party will rage at the other or withdraw emotionally. This is the foundation by which the relationship is built.
2 Relationships are not always 50/50 In a healthy relationship there are times when one partner needs to contribute more to the relationship than the other. What may come easy to one may not come easy to the other and that is OK
3 Become Aware of the Version of Intimacy Each Partner Received in Childhood. Were your parents warm and close with each other or was intimacy something to avoid?
4 Be Aware of the Time Traveling Process...... This is where we confuse the voices from our childhood with those in our lives today.
