For a long time, I believed I was waking up and "exiting the matrix."

I was involved in New Age spirituality, including astrology, human design, manifestation, psychics, and wellness spaces that promised healing, empowerment, and answers. When I was chronically ill, exhausted, anxious, and desperate for relief, these beliefs felt comforting. They made me feel seen. They made me feel in control. They made me feel powerful.

But something was off.

In this solo episode, I share my personal journey out of New Age spirituality, including my experience with Medical Medium, psychic culture, manifestation, and spiritual communities in Los Angeles. I talk about how desperation can override discernment, especially when you are suffering.

I explore why vague spiritual language feels convincing, how manifestation appears to work, why control is often mistaken for faith, and what finally opened my eyes. I also share how walking away from these beliefs led me to something I had never experienced before: peace.

This episode is not about honesty, discernment, and what happens when you stop trying to be your own god and choose surrender instead.
