  • Day 30 – Your Christmas Gift

    Merry Christmas!

This year, when you unwrap your Christmas gift, you can receive the promises of Christmas:

The birth of Christ is the promise…the gift of His nearness. When Jesus came to earth He came as a human being. In doing so, He bridged the gap between divinity and humanity. He forever fused together the Divine life with the human life. The promise to us is the eternal closeness of God. A Savior was born to repair the damage that mankind inflicted on himself because of the sin that entered into the world through Adam and Eve. He’d was born as the only way of salvation!

  • Christmas & the Engagement Ring

Christmas and the Engagement Ring, is a harbinger, of sorts…a warning. Everyone wants to be loved and treasured. I don’t think that anyone truly wants to do life alone…but when we don’t take heed to the warning signs before us, the holidays and the engagement ring can make subsequent holidays leave us bitter.

1 Peter 5:7 NLT: Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

    Are you a worrier?

In I Peter 5:7 he tells us to take all of our anxieties, everything that worries us, and to give them to God who cares deeply for us. Your pressures and burdens can become heavy and difficult. When you try to carry them on your own you will become weary. But God has a better way.

  • Day 24 - God’s Promises – Does God Promise Salvation?

Today’s show, is brought to you by You are Dynamic, LLC. the personal improvement company that believes in and cares about you

I’m so thankful for the bridge Jesus provided for us. The bridge of Salvation. The Gift. The Free Gift of Salvation!

On Today’s episode…God Promises us Salvation. Is that a true statement? Stay tuned.

First, let’s explore what Salvation is and why we need salvation:

According to the website Got Questions.org, A definition of the Christian doctrine of salvation would be “The deliverance, by the grace of God, from eternal punishment for sin which is granted to those who accept by faith God’s conditions of repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus.” Salvation is available in Jesus alone (John 14:6; Acts 4:12) and is dependent on God alone for provision, assurance, and security

  • Key 5 - Revisit Your Past - 7 Keys to Avoiding Datetastrophies -

I Polled my listeners this question: Should you mentally revisit your past relationships? Here are 2 responses.

Looking back on past mistakes/lessons and taking ownership over your part(s) can be very helpful. It can also be very humbling but a great way to grow and serve as a reminder not to make the same mistakes again. That is, as long as you feel emotionally/mentally strong enough to do so.

The most important relationship to look back on is the one with your family of origin and your inner child. I’ve learned much by looking at past romantic relationships, but if you don’t do your inner work, the relationship with yourself, and important figures from childhood, if you can, patterns in your adult relationships will continue to play out.

I believe you should mentally revisit your past relationships, but just don't stay there.

  • Day 10 God's Promises - Wisdom Matthew 6:33

Matthew 6:33 is one of the great promises of God to meet the needs of all His children. For clarification purposes, not everyone is a child of God. Stay tuned to find out more…

I know people say that all are God’s children, but that’s simply not true. Yes, God created everyone but not all of His creation has accepted the free gift, Jesus Christ, in order to obtain salvation and then become one of God’s children. The Bible tells us that you have to go through Jesus Christ in order to get to God and become a part of God’s family. In John 14:6 it reads “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”. Explicitly, the Bible makes a clear distinction between those who are children of God and those who are not. Only those born by God’s Spirit through faith in Jesus are children of God (1 John 3:1-10, Galatians 3:26, John 8:34-41).

God’s promises are for His children, only.

  • Day 6 God’s Promises & Fear - Isaiah 41:10

With all that’s happening in our world today, where wrong is right and right is wrong, where death and famine and pestilence is worldwide…Revelry and hatred and discourse have become normal and so many other negative things are going on, I wanted to give hope.

What a better way to quell our fears of today’s woes than by learning and claiming God’s promises! Did you know that in the Bible there are thousands of promises and Every one of God's promises is “yes” and Amen? Hallelujah!

What do you fear? What are you afraid of? Has your biggest fear ever held you back from doing something that you wanted to do before?

  • Day 9 God's Promises - Are God's Promises Conditional?

    Are God’s Promises Conditional?

Most of God’s promises have conditions. Meeting the conditions is essential for God to do what He has promised. In other words, He will only do His part when you do yours. Ask yourself, “What is God requiring me to do in order for Him to work?”

  • Day 12 God's Promise to Be With You

I once heard a story about a famous person’s son who was about to be robbed. He shouted out, the blood of Christ prevails against you. The would-be robbers said, why you sayin’ that, and they ran away.

Today, I want to touch on God’s promise to be with you. Do you sometimes think, Where are you God? I need you…and then remind God of his word, the Holy scriptures? I’ll bet a lot of us do. Stay tuned to find your tried and true solution.

Remember this…It was About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?" (which means "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"). We find this in Matthew 27:46.
