  • Breeder Link: Real-World Genetics, Built by Cattlemen for Cattlemen
What happens when two longtime A.I. and seedstock professionals decide the industry needs a better way?
On this episode of Herd Report, we sit down with Breeder Link founders Lex Carter and Robert Whitacre to talk about their breeder-driven, owner-operated semen marketing company focused on real-world, maternally built cattle.
With decades of experience at major A.I. studs, Lex and Robert saw a gap in the industry. Too many good bulls were being overlooked. Too much emphasis was being placed on extremes. And too many breeders were losing control of their genetics.
Breeder Link was built to change that.
    We discuss:
Why fertility and longevity still drive profitability
The importance of proven cow families
How their shipping model saves customers money
Why they don’t chase “wild numbers”
And how their win-win philosophy supports both bull owners and commercial cattlemen.
If you believe the middle isn’t flashy — but it keeps you in business — this episode is for you.
