In today's episode, Enrollify podcast host Zach Busekrus discusses a trend that has been gaining momentum in the higher ed space—the micro-influencer, i.e. a brand partner with 1,000 to 10,000 social media followers. Enter: student ambassadors, admissions counselors, program coordinators and other personalities that exist on your recruitment team.
And since 92% of consumers trust micro-influencers more than traditional advertising or a celebrity endorsement, it's a good idea to figure out how you can hop on this trend for student recruitment at your institution.
Wondering exactly how to incorporate more students into your marketing strategies? You won't want to miss this episode, where Zach offers some creative ideas for maximum impact.

Meet Dror Liebenthal — the Co-founder and CEO of Bold.org, an organization committed to eliminating the student debt crisis in the United States and building a more sustainable recruitment and enrollment experience between students and higher education institutions.
The average student today will graduate with more than $30,000 in debt 😮 and is far less likely to start small businesses, seek the highest impact careers, buy homes, or start families.
Students around the country are taking on huge amounts of debt to get access to the education they want and need. By enabling students to fund their education through exclusive funding opportunities, Bold.org broadens access to that education in an affordable and sustainable way. Check out the eye-opening conversation about the future of financial aid between Zach and Dror in our latest episode!

Brands use personalization all the time to elevate customer happiness and build loyalty. As a marketing strategy, personalization is equally important in student recruitment and enrollment management at higher education institutions.
On this week's episode, Zach is joined by Ardis Kadiu, Founder and CEO of Element451, an intelligent admissions marketing and CRM platform. Zach and Ardis discuss how personalization can be used far beyond the email inbox and how it enables admissions teams to make smarter decisions about who they engage with.
Plus, Ardis shares insights into the role technology plays in personalization and what he anticipates 2025 to look like when it comes to implementing personalization in marketing across multi-channel communications.

For the new generation of digital natives, search is not ancillary to navigation, it IS navigation. Most college and university websites settle for Google's custom search tool as the search plug-in for their site, which allows for little flexibility.
On this week's episode, Zach is joined by Hannah Fuchigami, Marketing Manager at Squiz, for a discussion about the rise of search and why traditional site search plug-ins simply don't make the cut. Great search tools understand user intent and can serve up multiple, custom-branded, and contextually-sound pathways for the searcher.
Plus, site search can be an antidote for enrollment marketers with little control over their website's design—you may not be able to control site architecture, but with the right search tool, you can enable prospects to find the information they're searching for with as little friction as possible. Don't miss this episode for tips on reducing barriers for your prospects!
