It's been just under a year since Sydona last recorded, but she’s back now and wanted to share with you all the knowledge she’s gained in that time. For instance, she’s started her nutritional therapy practitioner certification and gained a better appreciation of the emotional aspects of healing. She’s also come to recognize how our relationship with ourselves affects our physical health, such as how suppressing emotions and not taking time to heal can leave our body with little energy for an optimal immune system and hormones. Additionally, she’s learned how holding onto anger or trauma from a traumatic event can keep us stuck in that fight or flight mode. Sydona is back. And she’s better than EVER! Healing chronic symptoms from the inside out.
You've done everything right. The elimination diets, the supplements, the specialist appointments. Things shift for a while- …
Here's what that voice is actually telling you: the root isn't in your food. It isn't in your lab work. It's in your nervous system - in the chronic shame patterns, survival beliefs, and stored trauma that have been shaping your body terrain since long before you had language for any of it.
Rooted is the podcast for women who are done treating symptoms in isolation and ready to understand what's actually underneath them.
Hosted by Sydona Tregoning - breathwork and movement coach, somatic practitioner, and creator of The Reshaping Method - each episode goes deep on the intersection of nervous system health, chronic illness, nutrition, somatics, and the body's extraordinary capacity to heal when it finally feels safe enough to do so.
This is not a wellness podcast about optimization. It's about coming home to a body you've been at war with.
You'll hear Sydona's own story of healing PCOS, IBS, and SIBO not through another protocol but through reshaping the nervous system that was driving it all. You'll hear client stories, somatic practices you can do in real time, and the science behind why healing has to start with the body.
If you're tired of being told it's in your head, tired of protocols that don't stick, and ready to actually get to the root - you're in the right place.
New episodes every month. Follow so you never miss one.
