Drawn to the supportive ranch horse community, Kayla was inspired to adopt a Mustang after the Appalachian Trainer Challenge. She navigated the Bureau of Land Management process and brought home Walter, a Mustang with a touching story. Kayla shares the emotional journey of training Walter, building trust, and overcoming the fears of slaughter buyers and amateur status concerns.
With the help of fellow Mustang adopters, Kayla gave Walter a safe and loving home. Tune in to hear how her dedication provides a “soft place to land” for a deserving horse.
