On today’s podcast I had Aaron Shumaker on. Aaron has sold his company for multiple nine figures. It’s a pretty crazy story he talked about where he started this company in his uncle’s basement selling security systems. We talked about what it was like navigating a start up business like that at 24 years old, and figuring out how to do all the simple things we know today, like marketing, handling competition from other competitions, and what it’s like going up against Amazon because they decided to get in the security game. Along with that, we also talked about crypto markets. He recently created a crypto fund. He’s bullish on a few different things that you want to make sure to hear about! We also go into what I am doing with my NFT! This is the first podcast where I publicly talked about my NFT, so if you’ve been wondering what my plans are in the space, I reveal a little bit of that. Overall, we just talked about what it’s like as an entrepreneur, going through failure on every business. It’s cool to relate that every business I’ve started has been a failure in the beginning, only for us to adapt and pivot to figure out what makes us successful. Aaron’s business was no different, and adapting through those changes was what allowed him to sell it for multiple nine figures.
