Episode 312 features Maideli Garcia of My Daily Dinero. We're discussing how to transition from teaching to tech! Listen now!
Maideli Garcia is a Latina money coach and financial educator dedicated to helping women of color and first-gens individuals save, spend, invest, and earn more—all without sacrificing joy.
As the daughter of Mexican immigrants, she taught herself personal finance after a family emergency exposed the lack of financial stability in her life. With a background in education, Maideli has taught in public, private, and international schools.
After facing burnout, she used her new financial foundation to pivot out of teaching and into the tech industry, where she now works remotely, earning three times her former teacher salary. This shift has given her the freedom and energy to focus on her mission: empowering others to thrive financially while prioritizing their well-being.
Maideli has broken generational cycles by educating herself, her family, and her clients to build wealth, achieve financial freedom, and rewrite their money stories. She’s passionate about showing others what’s possible when they take control of their finances and invest in themselves.
