Moments of Total Happiness often spawn from Moments of Totally Fuck This.
Rob and Sam created premium cocktail brand, Buveur.
Buveur unlocked a myriad of smashing-listings Harrods, Selfridges, Daylesford, The Hoxton Hotels and The Ritz.
Until, Scale Demons beckoned.
Margins at scale didn’t work.
Shackled by “too premium, too small”.
One can only push water up hill for so long.
Back to drawing board. Rethink to reinvention to Renaissance.,
MOTH Drinks was born.
She’s stormed the category like a ravenous Hurricane.
MOTH are the fastest growing RTD cocktail brand - found in 2775 supermarkets Waitrose & Partners, Sainsbury's, Homeslice Pizza, The Hoxton and British Airways
Conversation with the amazing 🍸 Rob Wallis Wallis was recorded at the amazing Bread & Jam.

Leaving New York and landing in La La land with dreams of becoming an actor.
The odd extra job here and there.
Nothing.
Hollywood reared it’s egregious ugly head with toxic-stained eyes.
City of Angels became Town of Demons.
Tinsel Town lost the twinkle in it’s eye. Danny, too.
Danny felt lost and confused and totally at rock bottom.
But, something softly whispered to his soul. A calling. Muse. Something. She kept pulling Danny.
He took endless flights from LA to China, hustling an wining and dinning. The Ritz, Carlton China.
A sliding doors moment. Danny stumbled upon a new technology. The genesis of HEXCLAD.
HEXCLAD are ab-SO-lootely smashin it
This is true founders story. Ups and downs. Sliding door moments. Grit. Hope. Pain. Truimph.
You’re going to LOVE it.

Life is a little crazy right now. This is a reposted episode from a couple of years ago with the wonderful Camilla Barnard, founder of Rude Health.
Back in full swing next week.
In 2006, finally, something erupted.
Health food was an imbroglio of crusty and boggey-fied, innocuous yet alienating food.
Glib green and banal brown shelves had less personality than a broken Asthma pump in a hospital car park.
A cacophony of precocious cardboard-with-a-conscience.
In 2006, thankfully, a TECTONIC SHIFT ERUPTED!!!
Lashings of lurid orange and green and pink and red lava spilled over supermarket shelves.
A bombastic riot of eye-gorgingly-gorgeous products, coquettishly carousing your taste buds.
Rude Health, the Granola-gorging Jospeh and the technicolour Dream Coat.
Rude Health made you feel beautiful and bountiful.
They’ve scaled from +£20 million, won listings at Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, TESCO, Booths.
My latest guest on HUNGRY is the wonderful, Camilla Barnard, co-founder Rude Health.
One of my favourite episodes to date!

Life is a little crazy right now, so this a repost of a previous episode I recorded with the wonderful Renée Elliot a couple of years ago.
“It was a frightening, exhausting experience – and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.”
Her co-founder tried to kick her out of the business after 2 years of trading,
resulting in 14 months of litigation and a 10-day court case.
Recording this podcast was INTENSE.
My stomach was in knots, sweat gushed down my brow, palms felt like they’d been
dunked in Vaseline.
When we stopped recording.
All worry and concern relinquished, equanimity permeated my body.
A feeling clung, a feeling that I could achieve LITERALLY anything.
Renée Elliot, founder of Planet Organic is the latest guest on HUNGRY.
It’s a bamboozingly good episode - providing a toolkit to persevere through
colossal challenges.
ON TODAY’S MENU:
1. “Trust your gut and believe you can do ANYTHING”
2. Why founders must constantly STOP. CHECK-IN. MAKE BETTER DECISIONS.
3. The 6 Spheres of Wellbeing- physical, occupational, psychological, economic, social, and spiritual.
4. How your role as a founder changes as your business scales - Ditch what you
hate. Implement systems.
5. How Spirituality informs Successful Strategy - The marriage of Being and
Doing.
