HUNKS

This is our 33rd episode! And it was released exactly 7 days since Quinn Greene's 33rd birthday. It's a very special episode because we a very special guest - Kane Greene! Quinn and Kane Greene are brothers who are struggle with mental illness. Numan Films followed the two brothers and their family around for over a year filming the upcoming documentary 'Being Greene'. In addition to discussions about mental illness, we also talk about Tim Gray carrying around a bag of hair that's from his ex girlfriends and is still growing. So, we pretty much covered all of the bases. After you've listened to this week's episode you might notice a whole new set of audio issues! Today's episode opens with us vicariously biting the hands that feed us (UMFM) while talking about Pledge-o-Rama. This week Quinn learned some fun squid facts! Tim trots over to the word of the week - tantivy. HUNKS recorded this after their triumphant appearance in Seattle Sketchest. We get into it! The group can barely hold in their excitement about being where Starbucks all started. And then Tim forces everyone into playing a game of 2 Truths & A Lie about the State of Montana. The third segment of this episode is a phone call Tim and Matt made a couple weeks ago. We got California Nightingale on the phone and had a stimulating conversation wherein Matt Nightingale opened his heart, Matt Nightingale was hilarious and Tim Gray was mostly mumbling.

Regretfully, HUNKS has parted ways with Sam McLean. Sam has been an integral part of creating and defining HUNKS’ voice from day one. He will be missed and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

We met so many wonderful comedians during the Oddblock Comedy festival in Winnipeg, Mb. Graham Clark was one of the "H.U.N.K.S. & Friends" and we got along so well that we invited him to do our podcast AND HE SAID YES! Just kidding, he answered a Kijiji ad in the personal section. From dinner roll to drum roll, this is definitely one of our best episodes yet. In this episode we learn that Tim and Quinn have a shared history of our first jobs being at Chicken Chefs. Rory learned he shouldn't cut his nipple length hair by himself. Tim's new hypocorism Gimlet is revealed. Jennifer makes a comeback! Graham Clark's one week as an Octupus quickly turns into one week as an Octopus impersonating a Janitor. This quickly turns into a big budget Hollywood blockbuster! My Dad the Octopus - coming to NBC this fall. Also, watch out for the touring show "Blue Whale and a Man Group". This was the best!

Our second ever guest episode! RobYn Slade joins the HUNKS group to talk about everything from 4:20 Friendly babies to The Tragically Hip. RobYn is an incredibly talented improviser, producer and deeply beloved member of the theater community in Winnipeg. We're delighted to have her join us in our tomfoolery. Our word of the week is amity. And, Dana knew it immediately. As did most of our listeners, I'm sure. That Tim guy is a real dummy. Sixteen chocolate bars took to the pitch in hopes of being crowned the world's greatest chocolate bar, each knowing that there could be only one left standing. This was the backdrop as the Davids of the chocolate world (Eat-More, Crunchie, Bounty) and the Goliaths (Snickers, Mars, Oh Henry) took to the field of battle. It was in this cauldron where heroes were forged and legends written. 2016 will be remembered as the year Eat-More asserted itself as a bar to be reckoned with. It will be remembered as the year Mars was brought back down to Earth. It will be remembered as the year Aeros took flight, and Caramilk secrets were revealed. And it will be remembered as the year chocolate bar fans were filled with Wunderment. We'll not soon forget Eat-More's incredible first round upset over tournament favorite Twix. Nor can we possibly forget Caramilk's dramatic extra time win over Kit-Kat. But, Caramilk is no doubt hoping the world forgets it's lopsided 37-8 loss to eventual world champion, Coffee Crisp. In the end it was the great uniter, Coffee Crisp, who in the ashes of battle was able gain the allegiance of the fallen, forging alliances that would render it unbeatable. 2016 will be remembered as the year a crispy coffee wafer showed what it takes to be a true champion: An unbreakable bond of togetherness.

Tim Gray let's his 4:20-friendly freak flag fry. Vatic is our word of the week. And it is supe's boring. Dana Explains A Movie is back... Polterguist! This might be the greatest re-telling of a scary movie of all time. Dana has certainly outdone herself. She really gets into it and, let me tell ya', it really shows. We recently realized that our very own Rory Fallis is a closed book. He's our Director, our Film Guy, he's our resident robot. It's a real treat. You'll have to sit through Rory's 2-Truths-&-A-Lie to hear who he played in a high school production of 'Blizzard of Boobs'.
