It’s my sobriety birthday! I have been sober for 11 years. So for today, I’ve decided to reflect back on my struggles with addiction and my journey through sobriety. Back then, my only solution was to use! It was my go to celebration and my numbing self medication. No longer! I have off days and struggles but my sobriety has created a life for me beyond my wildest dreams. All I really needed was a bit of willingness and the desire to change.
