In this podcast, I talk about the other day when I yelled at my kids. I talk about the importance of self-care, how to help my kids next time.
It was a hard morning. The house was a mess, they turned on the TV right when they woke up, they wouldn't clean up after themselves, and they both had meltdowns. After that, I had a meltdown of my own.
On social media, my first Instagram story showed me making homemade blueberry waffles for them. If I had left it at that, no one would have known about my "motherhood sucks" day. But, I decided to record a story about what happened.
What I discovered was that these honest moments are so important for the motherhood community so we all know we aren't alone when motherhood sucks. It's also a reminder that we often don't see the bad moments on social media.
Hope you like it!
