A mandatory 1% RET levy will be imposed on all operators, yet can the government harmonise a framework to satisfy the interest of diverse stakeholders on how RET funds are gathered and distributed

  • Ep 033: The good and bad of Chile and Peru

At the end of 2022 there were three countries from Latin America that had everyone on the edge of their seats - Brazil, Chile and Peru. We all know that the first one is taking its time to regulate the sports betting industry and in recent iGaming Daily episodes we discussed some of the provisional measure details and other developments, but today we’ll be dedicating this space to the other two, Chile and Peru.

In October of last year, the online casino streaming landscape changed following Twitch’s introduction of a new set of rules due to concerns of consumer protection.
