How much should you charge for your services? 

This is a question which almost paralyses agency owners, as they are stuck in the mud trying to make up numbers out of thin air due not knowing what to charge.

Unfortunately, in many cases (especially in SMMA), you can’t just charge the same price for all of your clients, as everyone is different; some may be big, some may be small, some may require more work than others, etc. 

As a result, you need to have a framework in place to understand what to charge & actually have some substance behind it, rather than pulling a number out of thin air.

Should you take on clients in a new niche?

A tricky question to navigate for many agency owners, especially those starting out. 

The answer is totally dependent on your circumstances as an agency owner & whether you can afford to say yes or no to tapping into a new market. 

On one hand, if you are a brand new agency owner who doesn’t have a consistent stream of income, then by all means, take whatever you can to build up cash flow & hone in on a niche overtime. 

However, on the other hand, if you are an experienced agency owner who has a solid reputation in a specific market, you should be turning away prospects in a different niche as it could distract you & do you more harm than good.

If you want to win big, you need to make sacrifices in your life. 

However, in my 5+ years of business, I have come to learn that there are 2 things that you should NEVER EVER sacrifice in exchange for success; 

Your health & your relationships. 

Unfortunately, in the world of entrepreneurship, many people have been brainwashed by the hustle culture assuming that they need to sacrifice their health, friendships, relationships, social life, etc, to win.

In actual reality however, making some of these extreme sacrifices are completely unnecessary & will do you more harm than good, regardless of how much success it may bring you.

$10k per month isn’t as hard as people make it out to be. 

The first mistake that people make is simply putting this elusive figure on an imaginary pedestal, making achieving that number harder than it actually is. 

The second mistake is simply channeling your energy into the wrong activities. 

If you are under $10k per month, all you should be focusing on is outreach - simple as that. 

Not funnels for clients that you don’t have, not some fancy logos for your agency that nobody cares about, not a website where you have absolutely nothing to put in it; all you have to do is put 100% of your energy into outreach. 

It sounds so simple yet so many people don’t do this, as they are afraid of doing the work that actually matters.

Goal setting is a fun but dangerous process at the same time. 

Fun because it’s nice to sit down & put pen to paper as to what you want for the year, as that action alone fills you with an amazing amount of dopamine.

But dangerous because many people go about setting their goals in the wrong way & as a result, set themselves up for failure before they even get started.
