Everyone's talking bitcoin, gold, stocks, cash- but the capital that doesn't get quite enough attention nowadays is social capital. When you want to get into anything, whether that be entrepreneurship, the movie industry, writing, etc,- and we've all heard people say that it- it's not what you know, it's who you know. But often it is because the people you know have poured into you and have helped you to know more. In any space, you can't discount help. That's one of the many facets of life that we cover today with our guest Kyle.
Kyle Finley is the founder and CEO of Twin Termite & Pest Control based in Sacramento CA. He began his understanding of business as early as high school when he decided he wanted to get involved in his step-father's small pest control company. Eventually, he was inspired to build something of his own, and build it bigger. He started out of his garage with the mindset that he just had to put his head down and work for 10 years- that's truly the amount of time it often takes to know if your small business is actually a success or not. By year 7, he was able to begin paying himself. Today, his business has 4 locations and 55 employees total.
