This week's guest shares childhood similarities with one of our hosts, even though they're separated by almost 2 decades. 29 year old Kody Stowell hails from a small town in Iowa called Macedonia with a population of 267 (as of 2021). Owen also hails from a small town in Iowa called Malvern with a slightly larger population 1027 (as of 2021). Kody, unlike Owen, mainly invested in smaller towns and was quite successful with it too. He details why he chose smaller towns, how he strategically markets for smaller towns to avoid high vacancies and more. Kody also owns a construction company in which he has created a partnership of sorts leveraging the profits from his company and offering his employee(s) phantom stocks in the business.
