In March 2020, 33-year-old Holly Boisvert was arrested in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin. On November 8, 1954, 14-year-old Carolyn Wasilewski was brutally murdered just eight miles away from her family home in Baltimore, Maryland. Little evidence was left at the crime scene, but one peculiar and mysterious detail that was discovered was the name "Paul" written in bold pink lipstick on Carolyn’s thigh. Was this an intentional red herring or perhaps a vital piece of evidence that could lead to a breakthrough? The Jeff Davis 8, which is also referred to as the Jennings 8, is a series of unsolved murders that occurred in Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana, from 2005 to 2009. During this period, the grim discovery of the bodies of eight women were made in swamps, canals and wooded areas that are located around the town of Jennings. The victims of these crimes were Loretta Chassion Lewis, Ernestine Daniels Patterson, Kristen Lopez, Whitnei Dubois, Laconia Brown, Crystal Zeno, Brittney Gary, and Necole Guillory. These women shared several common traits, including poverty, struggles with drug use, and involvement in sex work. Despite ongoing efforts, the case remains unsolved, and it continues to frustrate their families, the local community as well as investigators.

The Academy at Ivy Ridge was a “behavior correction institution for troubled teens” that operated from 2001-2009 in Ogdensburg, New York. Started by Robert Lichfield, Ivy Ridge claimed to be a school that taught kids honor, respect, and loyalty. But in reality, it was essentially a prison where children were abused and forced to comply with strict rules and procedures. Joseph Smedley was 20 years old when he went missing on September 27, 2015. Five days later, two fishermen found him in Griffey Lake, Indiana. He was fully clothed and had binoculars around his neck. He also had a backpack filled with about 66 pounds of rocks. Many questions remain unanswered surrounding Joseph's death and his family will not give up until Joseph has justice.

On January 26, 2011, 27-year-old Ellen Greenberg left work early due to an unexpected nor’easter that was descending upon Philadelphia, where she lived. Before the day's end, Ellen would be found deceased in her apartment, from an apparent suicide. Or was it? To this day, Ellen’s case has sparked controversy among experts, the public, and especially The Greenberg family, who believed Ellen could not have taken her own life, especially considering the violent and horrific way she died. Now, thankfully, after so many years, Ellen's family will get the opportunity to argument their side over her manner of death ruling.

February 10th, 1990 was supposed to be a normal busy Saturday at Las Cruces Bowl in Las Cruces, New Mexico. But instead, two gunmen entered the bowling alley, stole money from the safe, rifled through cabinets, then fired 25 shots at 7 victims and lit the building on fire. Despite 3 surviving victims and witnesses seeing the men, they have never been identified and their motive remains unknown to this day.
