Michael Waters built a name in the sports industry by combining exceptional skills in performance training and his leadership, which has played a major role in the success of hundreds of athletes. As the founder and owner of Phase 1 Sports in Las Vegas, Nevada, he has created a system that has proven to be successful for athletes, adults, fitness competitors, kids, and anyone else.

He fell in love with football at an early age. Following a very successful high school career, he continued his success at Mt. San Antonio College  before transferring to UNLV. The positive effect that sports had on his life during his youth is the reason why he started to work with young athletes.

He was named Nevada Microenterprise Initiative Business Person of the Year, is an active participant in several school partnership programs and mentoring projects, is an active partner with Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and a board member of a number of charitable organizations helping young athletes.
