"BlackBerry" had its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival, where it received positive reviews for its sharp writing, direction, and performances from Jay Baruchel and especially Glenn Howerton. Nominated for a Gotham Award for Outstanding Supporting Performance, Howerton's work has garnered some of the best notices of his career as the sociopathic, results-driven Canadian businessman and former chair and co-chief executive officer for BlackBerry, Jim Balsillie.
