Our second episode on the Orange wine region involved a visit to popular Heifer Station Wines.  There we were able to interview Lachlan (a.k.a Chewy) who is their cellar door manager.  There’s something about the people from Orange because they are always so accommodating, inviting, and passionate.

In this episode, Chewy shares his views on the uniqueness of the Orange wine region, the history of Heifer Station, and his personal journey into the wine industry.  He also takes us through a sample of Heifer Station wines which include their 2018 Genisse Sparkling Wine, 2021 Bull Paddock Chardonnay, and 2021 The Farmers Paddock Pinot Noir.

Heifer Station wines illustrate the elegance of high elevation and cool-climate wines that define the Orange wine region.  It is also a great place to take the kids and family for a good time with farm animals, a bocce court, and a handball court.
