"Golda" may have had a tiny release in 2023, but one noticeable element that had everyone talking who saw it was the incredible makeup work done to change Academy Award-winning actress Helen Mirren into Golda Meir. The hair and makeup team consisting of Karen Hartley Thomas, Suzi Battersby, and Ashra Kelly-Blue have all been nominated for Best Makeup & Hairstyling at this year's Academy Awards, and they were kind enough to spend a few minutes speaking with us about how they achieved this astonishing transformation.
